well, we are less than 2 hours from the 2006 season getting underway, folks. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

anyone going to their teams opening day? i'll be at Citizens Bank Park tomorrow, but they are calling for rain :x

I'm pretty excited for this year's MLB season. Let's hope the White Sox start the season with a win. By the way, I've been a White Sox fan since I was about 4 and last season was amazing.

I predict that there is no way in hell the white sox get lucky and win 35 1 run games this year, like they did last year.

Probably not, but they added power so they will probably be in less 1 run games.

i gotta be honest people...the yankees of the last few years have turned me off. i was a huge fan of them growing up, and guys like pettite, tino, brosius, o'neill, key, wetteland, leyritz, bernie, chad curtis...they made me love them even more.

but i'm not really sure i can stomach them anymore. it's all money, free agents and personalities thrown together. there's maybe 5 likeable players on that team right now.

i'm going to pick a random team to root for this year. and i'm buying a jersey, too.
