I think we need to get this one going for news/discussion that's not draft or playoff related.

I'm going to move all the Carson Palmer posts in here.

not sure where to put this but I just read that Carson Palmer's knee injust is career threatening. The Dr went and and found that his knee was beyond fucked up.....way beyond normal tears. What a damn shame.

That really blows. Palmer was quickly becoming my favorite NFL player, especially after he tore shit up for me in my fantasy league this year.

Buffalo needs a new head coach.

I'm skeptical of saying it's career ending. This may delay Palmer's return but with the way technology is improving in this field, I still have hope that he'll recover.

Maybe Akili Smith can resurrect his career in the new Bengals offense.

Or David Klingler.

Jim Haslett and Ted Cottrell are the front-runners.

No thanks on both counts.

However, Buffalo's going to have a hard time getting a decent candidate to take the job, so I guess I'll take Haslett. He's wanted this job for a long time, so my guess is that he'll be the Bills' next coach.

So um, can Jerry sign TO already?

*I know he can't until March, but that is beside the point*

I thought you were just saying that Mularkey should be replaced. Whoa, that was a surprise, we better put up a link regarding his resignation:

The Bills can have the Titans Def. Coord. Jim Schwartz. Fuck that guy. I hope he lands a coaching job somewhere.

And it looks like I'm right. ESPN just said that the doctor said his comments were miscontrued and that Palmer has a good chance of being ready for next year.

how did Ty Law look this year? I wouldn't mind seeing the Giants pick him up if he still has anything left. I'm sick of Will Allen dropping INT's, and Will Petersen may have to retire.

he had a bunch of contact penalties in the first half of the year but the guy simply has a nose for the ball. I think he had 10 picks

I'm sold. Will Allen has had ONE pick in two years. That is just beyond pathetic.

He will probably cost a lot after showing that his ankle is sound. I was a little disappionted by him not stepping up as more of a leader when the season was going down the drain but i guess 10 picks is 10 picks
