I'm sure any Pac-10 fan will agree with me on this...
Fox's coverage of sports is a joke (FSN included). The announcers are horrible and the production is extremely poor. Everything from showing footage of fans while the game action is actually going...to completely cutting out at the end of games and missing the last play.
I'm fucking sick of it. The Chris Rose pregame/postgame show for these BCS games and Charles Davis on color commentary was even worse.
Not to mention that they frequently neglect to display the score/time on the screen while the game is going.
I'm building a bomb in my basement as we speak...who's with me?
I pretty much feel the same about ABC regional coverage. I had this weird feeling Joe Buck was going to be one of the analysts. So glad that didn't happen.
Yeah, the whole presentation sucked. Announcers were awful. And I was ready to throw my t.v. out the window if I had to watch that commercial of the rockem' sockem' robot hitting the truck one more time.

Right up there with the NFL network.
Both times we needed to see right down the line to determine TD or First down, they were off. Shitty camera angles.

as much as i used to love to hear mike lange call the pens games on tv, i prefer a unbiased duo calling he games
staggy and errey do a good job of it now for fox sports pittsburgh, they will call a spade a spade, regardless if its the opposition or the home team

Fox really is really bad for sports' television. It insists that the BCS play the national championship game on January 8th and spread out all of the other BCS games (further watering them down (remember when they used to be played on January 1)). It insists that MLB playoff and World Series games start at 8:30 on the east coast -- usually lasting well past midnight. It insists on not capping the amount of advertising it takes in for a particular event, thus dragging out events even longer. It never televised a college game during the regular season, but then throws together a keystone-cops announcing and supporting crew to broadcast the BCS title game (anyone find it incredibly hard to believe that Fox didn't have one college analyst on the pre-game show (instead we got two former NFL players and one NFL pre-game studio announcer)). It insists on focusing on menial things such as crowd shots and computer graphics (how many celebrities did we see in the crowd at Yankees' games during the playoffs). It's bad, bad, bad . . .
