Just figured the championship game deserves its own thread.
I see Ohio State rolling thrww the Gators here. Tressell is great in big games and Troy Smith seems unstoppable. Their depth at WR is the best i've seen since the old Miami teams. I think the OSU defense is overrated but Florida is still gonna have to score 30 to win.
It's amazing to me that Florida can't score. I think this game will be very sloppy, could go a lot of different ways. The biggest joke about this system might be that OSU has had over 50 days off since it's last game. This is like a glorified exhibition game that has not had hardly any atmosphere around it. I have a weird feeling Florida might shock the South and Midwest tonight.

Ohio State 38 Florida 22

yet another reason why the BCS sucks. Waiting 50 days to play in so stupid it's beyond me. It's not fair and you are going to get a sloppy game because of it

I was really confident until i saw the over/under which also looks tempting. I see no reason why 47 points can't be put on the board. However, i liked Ohio State from the start and am going with my first instincts

Florida has an unbelievable defense with speed all over but thier offense is ridiculous. The system is a joke, and the players he has right now aren't fit for that scheme. Essentially Percy Harvin is their tailback, he's fast as hell but he's no tailback. Leak is a pocket passer, and good when protected. Dallas Clark is a very good receiver.
Florida also commits too many penalties and that will kill them tonight.
I say OSU 31 Florida 20.
Florida's defense is by far the fastest OSU has seen but Florida is undiciplined and run a retarded garbage offense.
Florida has a very good team but they will kill themselves with penalties and sloppy nonsensical offensive play, don't kid yourself though they are a hell of a lot better talent wise especially defensively than anyone is saying nationally....and Urban Meyer despite that shit gimmick offense is capable of critical thinking and is a hell of a lot better big game coach than Lloyd Carr. This will be by far the toughest test all year for OSU.
Florida will lose because of sloppy offense and inability to score efficiently and committing too many stupid penalties.
Watch Florida come out jacked in the first quarter, and have several stupid personal fouls. They are fast and strong....but they are stupid.
Reggie Nelson is a badass. He could figure in some turnovers tonight.

I think OSU rolls but I could see them coming out flat with the big layoff. I think I'm gonna bet the 1st Q and first half unders and the 3rd and 4th Q overs.
Florida will be lucky to stay within 3 scores.
...I am also the guy who went 0-4 in the NFL playoffs.

Ohio State is going to roll all over Florida. Florida is inconsistent at best while Ohio State is a finely oiled machine. Not to mention the fact a one-loss team has never beaten an undefeated in the NC game.
45-17

My gut says UF.
One thing to remember is UF's kicker is horriable. If it is close that could be key. I hate to compare scores or games, but UM's showing in the Rose has me confused. Could it be OSU is not as good as we all thought? I guess we will find out in a hour or so.
I am just hoping for a good game. Something to enjoy after a great bowl season.

You can say the same for USC who lost to Oregon State who got trounced by Boise St. Michigan was definitely oevrrated but i don't think that necessarily makes OSU overrated. Just look at how bad Arkansas looked in their bowl game. Does that mean that Wisconsin could be Florida cause they manhandled Arkansas more than Florida did?
And yes, Florida has an awful kicker. I bet they don't even attempt an FG from over 35 the whole game.

I said "I hate to compare games or scores", because you cannot do it. It was just a thought. It ultimately comes down to match-ups. Hopefully UF matches-up well.

I don't know much about college football, but I've watched a couple Ohio State games and they pretty much got their shit together.
I don't know a single person that likes Florida.
