This was written for Minnesota sports fans:
Kevin Love is amazing, and thank God for that. The T'Wolves suck dirty socks right now, but Love gives us something to cheer about even as the teem regularly pisses away 4th quarter leads more often then NBA players like to light up a fat joint. Now, don't get me wrong. I do believe the Wolves are on the right path. They just happen to be right at the beginning of said path and have a long, long way to go. There are some decent players on the roster. Michael Beasley has been more then a pleasant surprise. Wesley Johnson looks like he may have a really nice up side. Darko Milicic could be a nice piece on a good team, just not as a starter. And I would take Luke Ridnour as a back up point guard all day long. Here's to hoping David Kahn can use all the cap space and draft picks he has accumulated to get a true starting point guard and center and we may have something going here.
In the mean time, at least we have Kevin Love. Currently he is sitting on 48 consecutive double doubles. That, my friends, classifies as a shit ton in a row. I suggest you turn into a Timber Puppies game and cheer for this guy because it has been over 30 years since Moses Malone set the modern high at 50 consecutive games with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds. This is truly a historic run that K. Love has been on. And in a town with an NBA team that is at least a couple years away from being a winning product, and where the college hoops team has officially crapped the bed, and the NFL team may not even have a season, we can all rally around the single beacon of consistency and stardom that we have going (at least until the baseball season starts!).
Three cheers for Kevin Love. I am rooting for 100 in a row!

It's one streak in sports that I've paid a lot of attention to. Pretty remarkable considering his lack of athleticism compared to other players in the league.

Another Wolves game. Another loss. Another Kevin Love 20/20 game. 21 points. 23 rebounds. All is right with the world.
Elton Brand made a fade away jumper last night and Love didn't even bother to put a hand up, instead he turned around while Brand was shooting and went for a rebound. At what point are rebounds irrelevant when you play zero defense?

The Wolves lose again. This time to the dreadful Wizards. They squander another fourth quarter lead by allowing 35 points to Washington. What a complete puke fest. The only bright spot for Minnesota is again Kevin Love. He gets his 50th consecutive double double with another 20/20 game. This time Love goes for 20 points and 21 boards.
