Hey, it's a classic Broncos season. They always find a way to completely let their guard down for one game during the season. Last year it was the Bears at home--it's tough to get more embarassed than that.
The Bengals simply outplayed them and wanted the win more. Can't really be too ashamed in that.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Eagles running back Brian Westbrook has a broken rib and could miss up to two games, an NFL source said Tuesday night.
Westbrook, Philadelphia's leading rusher, could miss Sunday's game against Baltimore and the team's Nov. 7 game at the Pittsburgh Steelers, the source told The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity.
The Eagles refused to comment. Coach Andy Reid is expected to address the injury on Wednesday.
Westbrook was hurt in the fourth quarter of the Eagles' 34-31 overtime victory against Cleveland. He was replaced against the Browns by Dorsey Levens, who had 48 yards on seven carries as Philadelphia won it sixth straight game.
Westbrook leads the Eagles with 458 yards rushing. He also 31 catches for 249 yards.
A dangerous special teams player who returned two punts for TDs last year, Westbrook isn't being used as a returner to avoid risking an injury. He missed one regular-season game last year with an ankle injury and sat out the playoffs with a torn triceps. He also missed his sophomore season at Villanova with a knee injury, but still set an NCAA record with 9,885 all-purpose yards.
The extent of Westbrook's injury was first reported on the Philadelphia Inquirer's Web site Tuesday night.
