my alma mater, albany, is now #2 in the nation i believe after the comeback win over then top-ranked john hopkins.

i'm best friend to the assistant coach there, who was a player himself -- and captain his senior year.

any fans out there? i used to cover all the games for the school newspaper, got some great photos and stories.

my school was (at the time) one of the better programs in the country. It's a pretty good sport to watch in person.

That or a way for skinny kids to show the world how tough they are by playing a contact sport.

Track season in the South/Midwest.

So, yeah, it makes even more sense for the rich white kids to have something to do.
