I couldn't find the old thread. I need to start two of the following running backs. Who would you guys start?

Ruben Droughns
Jerome Bettis
Dominick Davis
Warrick Dunn.

I'm thinking definately not Dunn, but I'm torn about the first 3. Droughns is coming off a bye week against a New Orleans team that gave up almost 200 yards to Derrick Blaylock. Bettis has done awesome the last 2 weeks filling in for Staley who is expected to be out this week. Davis is coming off a 2 TD game and going against a week Packers rush defense.

I get points for yards rushing, yards receiving, and TDs.

i say davis and bettis, i have davis in my league and he always has a nice amount of receptions, but in my league we get a point for each catch too, so its not just yards, droughns gets nice yards, but only has like 1 td all year.

I think I'm going to go with Bettis and Droughns. We'll see how it goes.

Well it looks like I guessed right. Davis hasn't played yet, but Bettis had 129 yards rushing (no TDs though dammit) and Droughns had 166 yards rushing, 25 receiving, and a TD. Plus I'm a Packer fan and I couldn't stand to see Davis have a big game against us tonight. Now I can really hope he doesn't get crap in the game. I hate that cognitive dissonance. I really have it when the Packers play the Vikings since I have Moss on both of my fantasy teams.

Man, I can't get consistent performing WR's. Larry Fitzgerald (who has no yards one week, 100 and a TD the next, rinse, repeat), Marcus Robinson, McCardell, and Givens. I just traded for Randy Moss, hopefully he'll start playing next week. Arrgh!

My wideouts suck too. I have Moss who is awesome, but not playing. My 2nd WR is Isaac Bruce who is having a decent year, but my 3rd guy (who's been playing the last 4 weeks due to Moss) is Lavernous Coles who hasn't done much this year.

OK, I need to win this coming week to make the playoffs in Fantasy. My lineup is set everywhere except my 2nd WR. Who do I start and why.....

Ashlie Lelie @ San Diego
Larry Fitzgerald @ Detroit
Michael Clayton vs Atlanta

I'd start Fitzgerald. Detroits secondary is weak and he's clearly the go to guy for Arizona.

Really? Fitzgerald was 3rd on my list of the 3.....now I'm even more confused.

Fitzgerald is also in his due week. Last week he wasn't that great. This week he should have 100 yards and a touchdown.

If Clayton is on Jason Webster's side go for it. Deangelo Hall is much faster but still the Falcons secondary is very bend don't break and they play off 10 yards leaving the underneath routes open.

Clayton is probably the safer bet because his QB is hotter right now and we have no idea who will throw to Fitzgerald this week.

I'd stay away from Fitzgerald since AZ plans to start John Navarre...Clayton would be my choice of the 3.

Yeah, I might have to recant my previous advice. I didn't know Navarre was starting.

I'd say ride the hot hand and go with Clayton.
