Don't you mean the Texas Vince Youngs?

Somewhere Balki is crying

Anyhoo, congrats to Texas, although it is too bad that there is no such thing as cosmic justice in that Mac "shady behind the scenes lobbying" Brown got a win a bowl he probably did not deserve to be in.

Anyhoo, Texas over Michigan.

Big Ten 3-3. Rough year.

What a game.

I wanted Michigan to win. Young is UT's savior.

Too bad that Keith Jackson and Dan Fouts failed to mention that the GW FG was damn near blocked by #6 of Michigan. That's why the kick barely made it over the crossbar.

But that would have taken attention away from Texas, which we all know was prohibited (at least so it seemed listening to those guys during the game).

At one point, I thought Texas was playing Texas!

Congrats though. In a game that lacked defense, Texas certainly had the ball last.

Yeah, it looked like he got a finger on it.

That's one of the best college football games I've ever seen.

"If Texas makes this field goal, they take the lead and the win, 38-37. If they miss it, Michigan will win 37-35."

Way to cater to the mathematically challenged.

Nice game Texas.

As I suspected, Michigan STILL has no idea how to contain an athletic, run-first quarterback. They learned nothing from McNabb, Randel El, etc. All Carr and Hermann should do this offseason is watch tapes of that game.

All you should do this offseason is watch tapes of people making good posts.

This post would have been a lot better if AS's post had been bad.

Sincerely,

Dwight Freeney

Mac's lobbying was public, were it 'shady and behind the scenes' you wouldn't know about it. Don't be bitter because the 'big ten co-champ' can't tackle Vince Young.
Be honest, you're only upset because if Michigan had gotten to play Cal, they undoubtedly would have won, because as stated in another thread, Cal sucks.
How about those badgers!

I'm not about to engage in a Big 12 v. Big 10 thread -- but I wouldn't be bragging about the Big 12's bowl performances if I were you (see Texas A&M (Joke No. 1), Oklahoma State (Joke No. 2) and Iowa State (barely beating a MAC school). At least the margin of defeat in the Big Ten didn't average more than 30 points.

Top to bottom, the Big 12 is very average.

By the way, you've been saying all along that Michigan didn't deserve a BCS bid -- well, the supposed No. 4 team in the country needed a miracle performance by it's QB to barely beat the No. 13 team in the country. You talk like Texas destroyed Michigan. If that kick is fully-blocked me thinks you'd be singing a different tune.
