Has anyone done this before? I'm going to be in Manhattan that weekend, and while I'm not planning on waiting in line and actually getting in on Saturday, I was wondering how easy it is to just get in for a bit on Sunday. Are the only tickets available the first-come-first-serve tickets handed out early Saturday morning or is it possible to just stop by sometime on the second day?

I saw this on a Broncos message board I frequent: it might help you guys out.

Quote:
The earlier the better. I usually bringa sleeping bag or at the very least dress in lots of layers and stay there all morning. If you get there at about 3am you should be ok. Bring stuff to do because it can get boring waiting. ipod, PSP, magazine, book, whatever. Once you get your ticket you will be allowed to leave the building and go back to your hotel, car, whatever, you'll have a good 3 or 4 hours before the event starts to do whatever you want, get breakfast, get some sleep, take a shower.

As far as tickets go, they have a lot of tickets, yes they do run out. They break up the tickets aswell. The draft has two rooms. One room is the actual draft room that you can see the commisioner, ESPN and everything you see on TV. The other room is a room filled with tables and chairs and you can sit around play games and all the activites the NFL offers. If you get the good tickets you can go to both rooms. If you don't get the good tickets you have to stay in the one room that is the game room. You won't get a chance to be on TV or hang out with some of the extreme fans.

According to Radio City they aren't allowing people to line up before 5am and tickets will start being handed out around 6am. I'm not sure exactly how they're going to stop a mass of people from lining up without some police involvement, though.

Oh well, I don't intend on spending hours early in the morning to get in. I was hoping to maybe just catch a late round or two on Sunday, but I get the feeling the tickets are for the whole shebang and not split into individual days. Probably swing by and find out for sure.
