I pray nightly that the NYK go 10-72 and Isaiah goes to jail for sexual harassment

I'm going to predict the 76ers and Knicks are going to fight it out for last place in the East

Am I the only one who thinks people are overhyping the Bulls right now?

No. They gave Miami all they wanted last year and then added Ben Wallace.

i don't know what "the hype" is, but it's a well-coached team with a young nucleus that won two games against the Heat in the second round of the playoffs last year and has basically swapped tyson chandler for ben wallace.

if they don't have a pretty darn good year, they'll be a disappointment.

stepping out and saying your team is gonna make a run at being in the top 53% of the league, huh?

I can definitely see this happening. Gerald Wallace will be a breakout player this year. Maybe Most Improved.

I've seen some writers predict them for the finals which is certainly possible. But they were a .500 team last year so I'd like to see a little more out of them before I put them on that level.

But the Bulls did nothing to improve the one aspect of their game they badly needed to...interior scoring.

All they did was improve on a strength they already had.

do you think, on paper, they're a better team today than they were last spring?

hence my dilemma - root for the team to win 20 games so Isiah gets canned....or hope they do better so they don't give up another high pick? Isn't being a Knick fan fun? If they do well, we're fucked. If do they poorly, we're fucked. But hey, they signed Jared Jeffries....a big fucking stiff who can't shoot or rebound but he supposedly "works hard" and provides "chemistry" so we have that going for us. Meanwhile, Jackie Butler will probably average a double double for the Spurs and win the most improved player award.
