They sure do. I've been a fan since I found out that Nirvana and PJ etc were from Seattle.
i started rooting for the Seahawks a bit as a kid because the Kingdome and Steve largent were awesome but i didn't have a basketball team yet. I figured i'd stick with Seattle and root for the Sonics. almost 20 years later and I'm still here. This year looked pretty bleak according to the "experts". I'm so happy that they are legit and can make a run at the championship. They sure have it together this year. a healthy ray Allen and rashard Lewis can do that

That would've been fun! Let's hope they keep it up and maybe get another big man under the hoop to rule the paint as well. That'd be swell.

I am so glad that they won and snapped Miami's win streak.

No no no. You have it all wrong. The SONICS will win and then beat the Suns.

The Sonics are legit, but I have a hard time believing that they can beat San Antonio in a best-of-7. The Spurs have the best team in basketball, and they seem to be overlooked quite a bit. When Seattle cools off (with Phoenix), San Antonio will still be kicking ass out West. I'm sticking with San Antonio vs. Detroit/Miami in the Finals. Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker are just too good a combo for me to bet against. But I could be wrong, stranger things have happened.
