here is just a summarry of the charges:

IX NITTANY LIONS FACE FELONY CHARGES

Anthony Scirotto

Felony charges have been filed against six
members of the Penn State football team in
connection with an April 1 incident in which
several people pushed their way into an apartment
at 646 E. College Ave. and an altercation ensued.
The players are awaiting arraignment this
morning, and a news conference to further explain
the charges is taking place at this time.
According to criminal complaints filed with
District Judge Carmine Prestia, the players
charged are:
• Anthony P. Scirrotto, 20, a junior safety from
West Deptford, N.J., who led the Nittany Lions
last year with six interceptions. He is charged
with burglary, criminal trespass, and criminal
solicitation, all felonies, simple assault and
criminal solicitation, both misdemeanors, and
summary harassment.
• Chris I. Baker, 19, a junior-sophomore
defensive tackle from Windsor, Conn., who was
expected to earn more playing time this season
with the departures of two starters from last
year. He is charged with burglary and criminal
trespass, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor
charges of simple assault, criminal mischief and
disorderly conduct, and a summary charge of
harassment.
• Jerome A. Hayes, 20, a junior-sophomore
linebacker from Bayonne, N.J., was expected to be
a challenger for a starting assignment. He is
charged with criminal trespass, a felony,
disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and a summary
charge of harassment.
• Justin King, 19, a junior standout cornerback
from Pittsburgh who was a 2006 second-team
All-Big Ten pick. He is charged with criminal
trespass, a felony, disorderly conduct, a
misdemeanor, and a summary charge of harassment.
• Tyrell A. Sales, 21, a junior linebacker from
Butler who earned Academic All-Big Ten honors the
past two years. He is charged with criminal
trespass, a felony, disorderly conduct, a
misdemeanor, and a summary charge of harassment.
• Lydell R. Sargeant, 20, a junior cornerback
from Lompoc, Calif., who went to grades three
through nine at Gateway School District near
Pittsburgh, where he was a classmate of King’s.
He is charged with criminal trespass, a felony,
disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and a summary
charge of harassment.

Scirotto is the serious problem. Which is too bad because he became a really good player last season. If anything happens to King, we're screwed. And of course, our once great depth at LB may take a hit.

We'll be OK, but with ND and Mich early in the schedule, I hope they can get back in.
