I'm sure someone will provide a better link, but seriously, does the game get any more beautiful than this?

I prefer a good string of passes in my great goals. Even Maradona's against England doesn't really get me excited...but i'll certainly say this there is an incredible amount of skill in Messi's effort.

Oh that and goals from over halfway. Robbo and Nayim :worthy:

I scored better goals regularly in five a side when I was in my prime

Sorry to say it, but that's a retarded statement.

Agreed. And therefore that Brazil goal in the World Cup final 1970 (can’t look it up on YouTube from here at work) will probably always be my favourite goal ever.

Long distance shots not that much, since there’s still a very big amount of luck in every one of them, even from the best specialists. I appreciate them a lot. But I prefer individual dribbles and team efforts.

The amazing thing is the incredible similarity between the two goals.

Remember the game at Fulham? Started on his own half, on the left flank. Finished it off.

Getafe 4 - Barcelona 0

Getafe wins the cup after having lost 5-2 in the first match.

They haven't won the cup yet. This was the semi-final. Final is against Sevilla. Still… pretty shocking result.
