anyone else vote on the web site? Fatso and Fruitloops are gonna announce the list this afternoon.

I voted this way:

1. Kirk Gibson's WS HR
2. Dan Marino fake spike
3. Knicks go to the Finals (Ewings putback)
4. Larry Johnsons 4pt play
5. Allan Houston's shot vs Heat

and tomorrow morning I guess they are going to run a whole bunch of old Imus clips, should be great.

Mine were:

1) Rangers win the cup.
2) Piazza's game winning homer, 1st game after 9/11
3) Rangers trade for Messier
4) Yanks beat Mets in 2000 Subway Series.
5) Douglas knocks out Tyson

I don't know how Kirby Pucketts game winning HR in Game 6 of the 91 series isn't included.

Also, Joe Carter's game winner in 93.

Also Leyritz history changing homer of the 96 series off Wholers that effectively turned the Yankees into the Team of the 90's.

Morten Andersons Game Winning FG vs Minnesota in the 1998 NFC Championship game that sent the Falcons to the superbowl.

Don't forget that at least 80 % of the people who are voting from the NY market so the votes are going to tend to sway towards NY related moments.

I included Buster Douglas just because of the sheer surprise that Saturday morning when I woke up and saw that Tyson had lost. Probably the biggest "upset" I have seen in my years watching sports. At the time, the sports world viewed Tyson as indestructable. (Little did we know he would soon self-destruct).

I went with:

1. Yankees win 96 world series
2. Norwood wide right
3. Stephane Mattaeu's goal
4. Rangers win '94 cup
5. LJ's 4 point play vs. Pacers

here's the list of choices:

http://www.wfan.com/pages/482789.php

not sure how Matt Bahr's FG vs. SF doesn't make the list of choices.

its not so much NY sports as it is sports that WFAN has broadcast in their 20 yr history. they must have carried the 1988 WS broadcast because Jack Buck's call is on the list (though Scully's TV call of the home run is far and away the better call)

I was just reading the site's criterion for selecting the choices (involving or impacting NY sports). I wasn't sure if all of them actually had anything to do with that criterion.

Eli is # 4,943

theyve hinted for a long time the Rangers Cup was blowing everything else out of the water in the voting.

I better see some Knicks moments in the top 5. fuck the stupid mets

the Mets fans must have hijacked the poll.... The Piazza 9/11 home run just came in 5th. How in the blue hell does that rank ahead of Matteau?

Especially considering the Mets didn't even win the damn game.

Even thought I’m a Mets fan I agree neither the Chavez catch nor Pedro signing belong on the list.

I think the Endy catch belongs simply because it was so amazing.

for further proof the Mets fan hijacked the poll...Yanks blowing the 04 ALCS came in 4th.

The David Wright bare handed over the shoulder catch should be there. It's one of the best of all time.

Is Chris Cotter still with WFAN? He used to work in Atlanta with my station.
