Actually, I except the Aussies to be split right down the middle between two of the options. The split is also a geographic one.

to play? basketball
to watch? well that depends. Hockey is the best sport to watch live....football is the best sport to watch if we're talking about your average regular season game....but MLB playoffs is my favorite to watch over all the other sports.

basketball is my favorite sport, i like the way the run up and down the court

to watch on tv id say Hockey/Football

Ricardo made a good point about watching live vs. on TV. My answer would be drastically different for hockey, for example.

My intention was to watch instead of to play, but you can use whatever criteria you want.

Football(American) to watch.

It's not even close. My weekends in the fall begin at 10 on Saturday Morning (I'll be covering high school this year so friday night even)

Oh and then Thursday, Monday and of course All of Sunday as well.

Once I have 30 hours worth of HDTV disk space on a DVR... watch out. It's really kind of pathetic how much football I watch.

I'm really considering the college package this year so my GF can see her beloved Nittney Lions and I kind of want to watch some more Pac 10 football this year as well as Colt Brennan out in Hawaii.

I hate Thursday night pro football. It sucks. The NFL network should end this practice. Thurday Night College though is great.

Pro Football on Thurday night is all kinds of wrong.
