2. College football is in full swing.
3. MLB playoffs are one month away and the last month of the season has some good division and wild card races.
4. US Open tennis tournament

I'd say October is the best...but I really never find myself saying during the year, "this time of the year sucks for sports". There's always something on I enjoy.
