I've only been playing for about 8 months. Practicing all fall and winter. I played a 9-hole once but didn't keep score. Looking for someone in the area to play with.

not played yet this year, towards the end of last year I was hitting around the 95 mark
my most memorable round was when I played La Manga Golf Resort in Spain, we arrived on a Saturday, our first round of 3 was on the monday, our golf bungalow was overlooking the 1st tee on the South Course, all day whilst sunbathing and drinking on the sunday we could hear these kids teeing off, so we went to check them out, turns out there was a kids comp going on, they were around the age of 13-16 and these kids were eating the course up, so we were watching what shots the kids were playing. When our turn on Monday came we set out carrying our bags tried to replicate these shots without any luck, 4.5hrs and 131 shots later I finished a broken man!
We found out the next day the comp we saw was the Spanish U16 Championship, and they were all scratch golfers! The Course we played had also held Spanish opens on the European tour in the past!
We played another course for our 2nd round then played the South Course again, went round in 105 this time, felt so much better!

I finally bought a cheap set of clubs in January, and have been going to the range twice a week. Lately my three wood has been my best club. I'm definitely going to try and hit a few rounds a month during the summer when it's cheap.

In the summers from when i was 12 to 15 years of age, i played on average 36 holes a day...junior memberships in those days were 99$!! And my local golf course was a very good - very long - course. So you can imagine how much fun i had with my friends. Ahh the summers before you had to work...

That reminds me of when I was younger. My grandparents took me golfing all the time in the summer (for as small as the town was, there were 3 courses). I took lessons when I was very young and I guess I didn't do half bad. The last time I golfed was almost 14 years ago, but I've been dying to try the two courses near-by.
I remember them letting me drive the colf cart too (I was younger than 13.). The course rangers didn't like that too much.

I've played four times in the last year after not playing for about 5 years. My last round I went out 43 with only one triple, which was an OB. That's the best golf I've played in many years, very consistent. I came in 48, a lot more inconsistent, but I was happy with it, especially my par on 18 in the dark when I couldn't see where either my drive or approach shot landed until I got up to them.

The swinging log tore me a new asshole, but I made it through the dinosaur all right. Next time I'll try the big boy club and a red ball and see if I can hit a few more fairways.

I have an awesome new set of Callaway clubs, yet I've only golfed about 10 times in my life, spread out over the last 5 years or so. I don't think I'm good enough to have such a good set of clubs...

In my competitive days i could hit mid-80s. Now my short game is crap. Today the usual par 4 procedure is this : get on the green in 2... 3 put for a bogey
