Congrats to the Detroit Red Wings for winning the Cup, they clearly were the best team all year.

They did play solid from start to finish this year and the Pens gave them all they had in the Finals. And if Hossa puts that puck in the net I wonder if the let the officials go to the locker room before the PA announcer tells the Pittsburgh crowd the goal doesn't count.

The Pens crowd has been great since the game ended. Only a few boos here and there compared to what you hear from most road teams. Players are being cheered for when they skate around with the Cup. The salute by the Pens at the end was nice, and the crowd responded nicely to that.

Good job Detroit... now please stop being good, ok?

Oh, I agree with that. Except they were booing Zetterberg as well.

They dominated that series so fucking bad. It was as though Pittsburgh got lucky at oppotune moments to make things seem closer than they actually were.

Awesome series. The Penguins were awesome as well. Very happy for this team and especially Ozzie and the coach, Mike Babcock. I met him a few days after the loss to the Edmonton Oilers and have never met a nicer man in sports.
