no need for a bruins thread for itself, since i was the only posting in it.

read this at espn.com:
Quote:
Key stat: 70. Number of players who skated for the Bruins the past two seasons, highest in the NHL.

1) that's dated, this thread can transend time.
2) that says offseason, this will be for the regular season.

Technically, the season starts Saturday and Sunday with the Kings/Ducks games.

Today @ 11:46 AM ET | Comments (186)
Sources are telling me that the loooooong awaited launch of the NHL Network in America is coming....Sources have confirmed for me that an October Launch will happen...not by the first, but in October.

UPDATE The following press release was given to me by a source...it comes from Cox Cable..

"Effective October 30, Cox will also launch the NHL Network, featuring 24- hour hockey coverage including live games. The network's signature show -- NHL On The Fly -- offers hockey fans exclusive coverage of each game, including press conferences, expert analysis, and special highlights from the NHL All- Star Game, NHL Stanley Cup Final and NHL Entry Draft. NHL Network will be offered on channel 248 of the Digital Sports and Info tier for Fairfax County and Fredericksburg-area customers."

Also I according to the following link...

http://pa.mypublicnotices.com/PublicNot ... dId=662153

Comcast will launch the network on or after October 16 on digital chanel 276

I'm going to the game on Sunday. Never thought I was going to see an NHL game, but thankfully I was wrong.

I am aware of that, but really. Leafs/Sens is the official season start for me.

I saw my first game last year. Leafs vs Canadiens and it was amazing.

The Ducks I guess. I've been following them since Espen Knutsen played for them back in 97/98. I was hoping to see Selanne, but I guess he won't play anytime soon.

just caught the canucks-sharks preseaon game, first game I'd been to in ages. The shootout was the funniest thing ever, because everyone was playing their callups, basically. it took 5 rounds for anyone (them) to score

Luongo put on a fucking clinic in the OT though. Good god.

The sad thing is I remember Espen. Not that great but eh, that's what you get.

So I'm guessing I'm the only one excited for the Sat/Sun games? :?

Let's go Ducks! :D
