Freeman isn't Painter. He has to throw that ball away and not take the sack.

Josh Freeman is definitely the QB for this franchise.

I would love to make the short week, west coast trip excuse....but I think we just got our asses beat today.

It will be interesting to see if they rebound from this, or go into a tail spin.

The offense is beyond lousy. They've had the benefit of playing inept teams of late, Indy, Atlanta.

They are really physical and should be running the ball not relying on Josh Freeman.

IMO Josh Freeman hasnt been good yet this year, he has gotten lucky with some plays to bring them back against bad teams, but he is making horrible decisions so far and this time he didnt get lucky, well i guess he did have atleast 2 more throws that should have been picked off but werent, but Freeman is struggling so far and it looks like they will live and die by him this year.

the D is improving but they are really young, and the little bit of pressure they were getting on Smith really stopped when McCoy went out, he doesnt have much in the way of #s but that push up the middle is what is creating the sacks they have gotten this season, and he is a big reason.

all in all it was just a bad game, couldnt stop the run, could barely complete a pass, and got down so much so quick that they couldnt afford to run. it was a terrible game and hopefully the embarrassment will light a fire under them and get them playing like they did last year.

Ugh. A loss wouldn't worry me except it ties the worst loss in their history. 80's Bucs included. This worries me.

Not a big worry really. Long road trip, with a young team against a very physical team. It just snowballed. They are fine.

the tough thing is they have to play New Orleans this week, it could really kill their confidence if they get blown out again, or they could rally big time and pull off a won over NO for the 3rd year in a row. cant wait for the game, but i am a little nervous to see how it goes.

Really pleased with the way team came back and played well after such a horrible showing against the 49ers. I'm still very concerned with Freeman. He isn't throwing with any confidence. He's still very erratic. He's throwing late, he's throwing high, he's not stepping into his throws, and he's not trusting his reads. Not sure what is up but mentally, he's just not there this year. At least not yet. Which is very frustrating because Freeman is a very smart kid. Maybe he read too many press clippings over the off-season.

Holy shit. I never saw the Bucs picking up Albert Haynesworth coming....

I'm stunned. Surely, there were better places to spend that money.

We had to beat the Saints to really have a shot. We're close but not quite there this year. Freeman looks hit or miss.

im hoping his thumb really is causing him to look so bad.

tampa has some good pieces, but still need to upgrade a lot, im hoping for Linebacker and O Line to be helped in the offseason, but my biggest hope is that they send Olsen packing and find a good OC.

not too bad, he had 5 tackles , and looked like he got a little push up the middle. he only had 3 tackles in the 6 games he played with the Pats, so hopefully he can atleast be a usable piece in the D Line
