Not so much, Brown's kinda backin down.

WWE Star CM Punk and Chris Brown Get in Twitter Match
Image

Updated: Thursday, 23 Feb 2012, 7:08 AM PST
Published : Thursday, 23 Feb 2012, 7:08 AM PST

(EndPlay Staff Reports) - Chris Brown is making headlines this week for a variety of reasons; namely his recent collaboration with former girlfriend Rihanna, but even more recently, his Twitter feud with WWE wrestler CM Punk.

E! Online reported that the two began their Twitter argument at the beginning of the week when CM Punk tweeted , "would like @chrisbrown [to] fight somebody that can defend themselves."

In a response that has since been deleted, Brown replied with a tweet saying
“@CMpunk needs more followers. He’s such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.”

Later, he removed the Tweet and replaced it with this…

@CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!

Thursday morning Brown's Twitter timeline was been scrubbed clean of any CM Punk references.

CM Punk posted a video response to Brown's accusations on Tuesday.

"I never intended to include Chris Brown's name in one of my tweets to start some sort of a controversy or to gain publicity or anything like that. [But] now that he's throwing accusations my way about using steroids, I feel the need to reply. I'm a lifelong, proud, drug-free straight-edge individual," CM Punk says in the video.

The 33-year-old wrestler continues saying that he doesn't have personal assistants, a PR team, and that he doesn't need a bodyguard like the R&B singer does.

But perhaps the most direct thing that CM Punk says in the video is his declaration that he doesn't "hit women," and they are to be "revered" and "respected." The wrestler was referring to Brown's arrest in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

CM Punk ends the video reply with an invitation to fight in the ring. All proceeds from the fight would go to a women's shelter of the wrestler's choosing.

So what did the 22-year-old Grammy winner have to say after the one minute and 52 second video?

Brown tweeted , "@cmpunk the video u just posted was cute! It's so funny how defensive u are." "And the fact that I really don't know who you are and could give a fuck is the funny part!" , according to E! Online.

Perhaps the final say in the whole feud was what Brown tweeted about the incident, "Note:today will be the last day I bring [CM Punk's] existence up! The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing."

And then all CM Punk posts were gone from Brown's Twitter feed.

Punk has not mentioned Brown at all since the video posting and seems content to let it's contents speak for him.

**Dixie Carter posted a note about contract negotiations with Sting on her Facebook profile: "You all are asking me about Sting. I'm dealing with him on my own business issues at the moment. 'I'm done' better not be related to those."

**Daniel Bryan will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus at this year's WWE Wrestlemania.

**The WWE has a big house show tonight in Los Angeles with the ‘Raw’ crew and then head to Ontario, California on Saturday and Eugene, Oregon Sunday. The ‘Smackdown’ crew is in South America with a show today in Panama City and then Guatemala City on Saturday. The ‘Raw’ television tapings are in Portland, Oregon Monday featuring the return of The Rock and then ‘Smackdown’ tapes Tuesday night in Seattle.

**The WWE released their 2011 fourth-quarter and full-year earnings report on Thursday with revenues of $112.9 million and a loss of $8.6 million as compared to revenues of $122.5 million in Q4 of 2010 and a profit of $8.1 million. In a statement released by Chairman Vince McMahon he blamed the poor performance this quarter on weak performances of their WWE Studios division, programs such as ‘NXT’ and ‘Superstars’ being moved from television to their website with no licensing fees coming in for the programs and start up costs for some upcoming projects, primarily the WWE Network. Here is a breakdown of the major areas of their business for the fourth quarter with 2010 fourth quarter results in parenthesis:
*Live Events – $26.9 million (up from $26.6 million) on 78 events as compared to 84 in 2010
*Pay-Per-View – $14.6 million (up from $13.8 million) with Survivor Series built around The Rock returning making the difference as the only show that was up year over year
*Television Rights Fees – $33.9 million (down from $35.7 million)
*Venue Merchandise – $3.9 million (up from $3.7 million)
*Home Video – $6.5 million (up from $5.8 million)
*Licensing – $9.5 million (down from $12.3 million) this is a notable one as the Mattel deal was expected to blow up this category and it was the video game end that held up this sector rather than the toy deal
*Magazine Publishing – $2.0 million (down from $3.1 million)
*WWE.com – $2.7 million (down from $4.5 million)
*WWEShop – $6.2 million (up from $5.8 million) and likely boosted by the fact you have three very solid merchandise sellers in John Cena, The Rock and CM Punk and to a lesser degree Sin Cara whereas a year ago it was primarily Cena and Rey Mysterio as your big merchandise sellers
*WWE Studios – $4.3 million (down from $7.9 million)

**The entire year of 2011 saw the company make a profit of $24.8 million off revenues of $483.9 million as compared to a profit in 2010 of $53.5 million on revenues of $477.7 million. The big number that stands out in year to year statistics is the gigantic slashing of operating income going from $82.3 million in 2010 all the way down to $37.0 million to combat business being down. It really cannot be understated just what a difference maker The Rock made in 2011 for his return to WrestleMania as that one event just about carried the entire year and you take him out of the equation and it’s a pretty terrible year for the company without that business that trickled down to live event attendance jumping after his return in February.

**Here is an updated look at pay-per-view numbers for the fourth quarter of 2011:
*Hell in a Cell (John Cena Vs CM Punk Vs Alberto Del Rio; Mark Henry Vs Randy Orton) – 182,000 buys worldwide, which is down from 210,000 buys in 2010
*Vengeance (Alberto Del Rio Vs John Cena; Mark Henry Vs Big Show; CM Punk & Triple H Vs The Miz & R-Truth) – 121,000 buys worldwide and is down from 137,000 for the ‘Bragging Rights’ show in 2010
*Survivor Series (The Rock & John Cena Vs Awesome Truth) – 281,000 buys and up from 244,000 buys in 2010
*TLC (CM Punk Vs The Miz Vs Alberto Del Rio; Mark Henry Vs Big Show) – 179,000 buys and down from 195,000 buys in 2010

**WWE conducts a phone interview with Shawn Michaels…and he hangs up!

**Shaquille O’Neal was on ESPN’S ‘Mike and Mike Show’ Wednesday and once again said he would be wrestling at WrestleMania 28.

**The USA Network will be airing a one-hour ‘countdown style’ special for The Rock and John Cena on Monday March 26th at 8pm EST leading into ‘Raw’ with a repeat the night before WrestleMania 28. You can expect a very similar style of show to the UFC countdown shows and if enough people see this may make a big difference if the intended plan is followed through with of how to build this match.

**Peter Rosenberg from HOT 97 chats with CM Punk including the promo from last summer, his quick return to television, out selling John Cena’s merchandise and plenty more and then below is a clip of his in-studio appearance taking calls from Chris Brown supporters:

**TNA performer Jesse Sorensen posted the following message on Tiwtter regarding an update on his health:
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. I have a long road to recovery ahead, but your support means the world to me.

**Monday night is the big ‘Raw’ show from Portland, Oregon built around the return of The Rock to television for the first time in over four-months. They are also teasing a rematch between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan for the show Monday night on WWE.com. The ‘Smackdown’ tapings take place Tuesday night in Seattle, Washington.

**The TNA ‘Impact’ tapings take place in Orlando, Florida Monday night for the show airing this Thursday. TNA has announced the following matches for the tapings tomorrow night:
*A.J. Styles Vs Christopher Daniels and Kazarian in a ‘Gauntlet Match’
*Madison Rayne Vs ODB
*Shannon Moore Vs Zema Ion

**Thursday night’s edition of ‘Impact Wrestling’ did a 1.19 rating and averaged 1,580,000 viewers and peaking for the finish to the Gail Kim Vs ODB match.

**The Rock posted the following comment on Twitter regarding the belief that many in the locker room are upset over his spot at WrestleMania:

Incredible to me how many of the boys don’t get the ‘business’ part of our business.

**Lance Storm added this line on Twitter in regards to those in the locker room upset regarding The Rock:

I got bumped off Mania 19 for Miller Light Girls anyone bitching about getting bumped down the card 4 THE ROCK needs to Shut up.

**The big story of the days comes by way of the New York Post with a story today on the state of the WWE Network. The report claims sources have informed them that the company has yet to strike a deal with any cable or satellite provider to carry the channel with comments from a media buyer stating that the reach of the channel will be very limited. The network was initially scheduled for an April 1st launch to coincide with WrestleMania this year but was delayed with no date specified but an internal hope of having the network up by the end of the year. The network is the latest in a long line of outside projects for the company and comes at a time when they have a huge albatross in the WWE Studios division that significantly hurt their last quarter (a loss of $8.6 million) along with their commitment to the stock divided that has hurt their cash on reserves before the significant costs of the network starting up are reflected in their reports.

**The WWE’s early numbers for the ‘Royal Rumble’ are coming in at 438,000 buys worldwide, which works out to 272,000 buys domestically.

**The WWE has also opened up an office in Miami, Florida to focus on all of its Latin American operations focusing on media distribution, live events, and consumer products.

**Here is the updated card for TNA ‘Victory Road’ on March 18th in Orlando, Florida:
*Bobby Roode Vs Sting
*Bully Ray Vs James Storm
*Kurt Angle Vs Jeff Hardy
*Gail Kim Vs Madison Rayne for the Knockout’s Title
*Austin Aries Vs Zema Ion for the X Division Title

**The ‘Raw’ crew is in Canada this weekend with a show in Cornwall, Ontario tonight and then to Ottawa on Saturday night featuring CM Punk Vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title and John Cena Vs Kane in a ‘Last Man Standing Match’. The ‘Smackdown’ crew starts off Saturday night in Albany, Georgia and then to Macon, Georgia on Sunday.

**The TNA crew is in Salina, Kansas tonight for a house show and then go to Dodge City, Kansas on Saturday night.

**Ring of Honor is in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday for their next set of television tapings and then have their 10th Anniversary Show iPPV on Sunday in Manhattan, New York headlined by Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly Vs Eddie Edwards & Adam Cole airing at 5pm EST on GFL.tv.

**Jay Briscoe posted the following comment regarding rumours that the WWE had approached the team and were blocked by ROH:

Just to set shit straight, ROH didnt block us from gettin signed to the WWE. The internet is fucking stupid

**Kayfabe Commentaries has announced they will be shooting a new ‘YouShoot’ DVD with guest Vince Russo in the near future.

**The WWE has added Percy Watson, Derrick Bateman and Darren Young to the ‘Smackdown’ roster on the website.

**Hulk Hogan comments on The Ultimate Warrior (he’s not a fan):

**Jeff Jarrett will have a small part in 2013's Spring Breakers starring James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.

**Evan Bourne's suspension from the WWE will end in a few weeks.

**This past Thursday’s edition of ‘Impact Wrestling’ did a 0.99 rating and averaged 1,330,000 viewers with the peak segment being the opening with Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. The main event tanked with the lowest segments of the show. The next television coming out of ‘Victory Road’ will tell the tale on how this creative team is going to function as they can panic book because of a few low weeks or realize that numbers will fluctuate but if they have a long term vision that numbers should be viewed as ebbs and flows and not be slaves to the weekly ratings, which historically that attitude leads to hot shooting and larger issues.

**The WWE is advertising that Triple H will wrestle on the March 18th ‘Raw’ house show at Madison Square Garden.

**Wade Barrett posted a message that he is done with Twitter for now and he’ll see everyone in a few months. Barrett dislocated his right elbow on ‘Raw’ two-weeks ago and was thought to be out 6-8 weeks but it looks like the recovery time is going to be a lot longer and is out of any plans for WrestleMania.

**Taz is starting a new radio show on Monday March 12th on the Lacrosse Radio Network called ‘Strong Island Lacrosse Chat’ and will be a weekly show at 2pm EST.

**TMZ is reporting that a sex tape with Hulk Hogan is being shopped around. It is unknown when the video was shot, but it does not involve his first or current wife. Porn distributor Vivid was approached with the tape, but it is unknown if anyone has made a deal to buy the tape.

**Kia Stevens, who wrestles as Kharma, has revealed that her child which was said to have been born on December 31, actually died before she was able to give birth.Stevens recently revealed the truth in hopes to help others who have undergone the same situation. She didn't even tell personal friends, and went with the story that the baby was healthy and fine until the last few weeks.

**WWE ‘Raw’ did a 3.25 rating and averaged 4,610,000 viewers and slightly down in audience from last week. There is a drastic difference this year in what The Rock has meant to the show with viewers significantly down year over year. ‘Raw’ was legitimately sold out on Monday night and that is a strong positive and I don’t anyone is doubting that WrestleMania is going to do a huge number this year but he hasn’t moved numbers to the degree he did last year.

*The Rock is now being advertised for the next four episodes of ‘Raw’ with next Monday’s show in Cleveland, March 19th in Philadelphia, March 26th in Atlanta and then April 2nd in Miami for the night after WrestleMania.

**TMZ reports that a sex tape featuring Hulk Hogan is being shopped around through a third party with TMZ stating they have seen a portion of the tape and it is Hogan in the video. Hogan is on tape with a woman (who is neither Linda Bollea nor his current wife Jennifer). Hogan’s lawyer David Houston has released the following statement:

Terry Bollea is appalled at the unauthorized release of a secretly filmed video. [Hulk] neither approved of the filming nor the release of the same. It is clearly an outrageous invasion of privacy and breach of trust if it is genuine. We will take all necessary steps to enforce both civil and criminal liability.

**In the ‘good timing department’ right as the above story was coming out Newt Gingrich used the ‘Real American’ theme by Rick Derringer to come out for his post primary win in Georgia on Tuesday night.

**The WWE and SyFy has confirmed that the next live edition of ‘Smackdown’ will be on Tuesday April 10th from Hampton, Virginia.

**More bad news for Ted DiBiase as he broke his ankle at the ‘Smackdown’ television tapings on Tuesday night in Uncasville. DiBiase had injured his wrist earlier this year but was working through that injury but this one will sideline him for some time.

**Hornswoggle may have also been injured at the tapings as he posted online that he had to go to the Emergency Room following the show where he worked a match against Drew McIntyre.

**TNA President Dixie Carter has confirmed that ‘Slammiversary’ will take place on June 10th on the road but has not specified where it will take place. This year’s show will be built around the 10-year anniversary of the company, which held its first pay-per-view out of Huntsville, Alabama at the Von Braun Center on June 19th 2002.

**The WWE will be releasing a DVD entitled ‘The Biggest Matches in ECW History’ hosted by Joey Styles and coming out on June 5th.

**Matt Hardy Vs Sid Vicious headlines the Pro Wrestling Syndicate card this Friday night in Rahway, New Jersey.

**CHIKARA has announced a return to iPPV with a June 2nd show entitled ‘Chikarasaurus Rex: How to Hatch a Dinosaur’ taking place from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company made their debut on iPPV last November with their ‘High Noon’ card.

**The latest edition of ‘Are You Serious’ featuring a literal burial of Ultimate Warrior and a figurative one of Marc Mero:

**Chris Jericho is booked for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on March 21.

**TNA is hosting another "Gut Check", this time in Wenatchee, Washington on Saturday, April 28th, 2-4 pm, at the Town Toyota Center. The 90-minute workshop to evaluate talent will be hosted by TNA Agent D'Lo Brown. The deadline to apply, through TNA, is April 20th.

**Madusa Miceli seems to have made up with the powers that be at WWE -- after dropping the WWF women's title in the garbage on Nitro and all, so perhaps she'll be around WrestleMania weekend in Miami.

**Though he also has a wonky ankle, Ted DiBiase Jr. announced that he will have shoulder surgery.

**They announced on WWE.com this morning that Team Laurinaitis Vs Team Long will be a 12-man tag at WrestleMania with the participants of the match still to be announced and will be the match where all the mid-card and upper mid-card talent will be figured into the show.

**Billy Corgan’s Resistance Pro promotion holds their next show Friday March 23rd in Chicago at The Excalibur headlined by Harry Smith Vs Rhino.

**Hulk Hogan appeared on ‘TMZ Live’ on Thursday confirming that he did have sex with the woman in question and noted he did so with a number of brunettes during that 4 ½ time period in between separating from Linda and meeting Jennifer and was also drinking heavily during that period. Steve Hirsch of Vivid Entertainment is making a big play to Hogan to distribute the tape because of the high demand. Hogan estimated the tape was filmed about 5-years ago but cannot remember.

**The Joseph Parks character on ‘Impact Wrestling’ last thurs night was in fact Abyss as he gets a character makeover.

**The WWE is working on a ‘Best of Falls Count Anywhere Matches’ project for DVD and Blu Ray and scheduled for a June release.

The "Rock Concert" last night was pretty funny.

The Rock can still bring it, at least with a microphone!

**Lionsgate and WWE Films have signed a two movie deal with one of the movies being a reboot of 1993's Leprechaun.

**TNA Impact Wrestling Thursday earned a 1.0 cable rating with 1.4 million viewers.
A deal for Shaquille O’Neal to appear at WWE Wrestlemania has fallen through.

**WWE has released Vice President of WWE Talent Relations Ty Bailey, who had been with the company since December 2005.

**The WWE shot an angle on ‘Extra’ Thurs night to officially set up Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres facing Kelly Kelly & Maria Menounos for WrestleMania 28 and bringing the match total to eight. Just about everyone is now accounted for with the exception of The Miz for the big show and doubt anymore matches will be made for the card. Menounos will also be starting on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ this Monday it will likely be pre-tapes for ‘Raw’.

**In another WrestleMania note, R-Truth has officially been added to Team Long joining Santino Marella and Kofi Kingston with three more slots open for their team.

**The Rock and John Cena went back and forth on Twitter on Thursday with the following exchanges:

The Rock:
Breaking 'kayfabe' is easy, cheap and never entertaining. Boys who are desperate do it all the time.

John Cena:
People should stick to the difficult stuff like mom jokes, sexuality, and making light of someones appearance.

The Rock:
The first sign of fear is when a man answers my raw aggression with a nervous smirk.

John Cena:
Second sign is when he can no longer speak in public without reading his words. Have a nice night @TheRock.

Jim Neidhart was sentenced to six months in jail this week following his September 2010 arrest for possession of stolen methadone and oxycontin pills. During the hearing, Neidhart was also charged with contempt of court after an outburst.

**The WWE have signed former collegiate wrestler Derek Foore to a developmental contract.

**Sami Calihan and Chase Stevens received tryouts with the WWE this past week.

**Paul Orndorff was recently told by doctors that he is cancer-free.

**Here is the current card for TNA ‘Victory Road’ coming up on Sunday night from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida:
*Bobby Roode Vs Sting in a ‘No Holds Barred Match’
*James Storm Vs Bully Ray
*Jeff Hardy Vs Kurt Angle
*Austin Aries Vs Zema Ion for the X Division Title
*Magnus & Samoa Joe Vs Crimson & Matt Morgan for the Tag Titles
*Gail Kim Vs Madison Rayne for the Knockout’s Title
*A.J. Styles & Mr. Anderson Vs Kazarian & Christopher Daniels
*Robbie E Open Challenge for the Television Title

**On Monday night the ‘Raw’ tapings are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featuring The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the ring together for a segment. The ‘Smackdown’ tapings take place Tuesday night in Newark, New Jersey. I would expect the finalized card for WrestleMania to be known by the end of ‘Raw’ Monday night.

**TNA is in Orlando, Florida on Monday and Tuesday night for the first group of tapings leading into ‘Lockdown’.

**Ring of Honor did in the neighbourhood of 2,000 buys for their 10th Anniversary Show, which is a tremendous success for a show that did not have a ton of buzz going into it. ROH attempted an experiment but offering the show for $9.95 instead of the usual $14.95 price tag.

**The WWE is experimenting more with content on iTunes by putting up a five-minute edited down version of The Rock’s concert from this past Monday on ‘Raw’. You can buy the clip for $1.29 or search for the segment rather easily on YouTube.

**Jesse Sorensen has gotten positive news from his doctors that his healing process could not be going any better than it is. Sorensen fractured his C-1 vertebrae at the February ‘Against All Odds’ event and is expected to be out of action for a full year.

**Hornswoggle has joined CM Punk and Randy Orton as those speaking publicly about The Rock’s return:

Glad @TheRock needs to sing karaoke to get his $hit in. @JohnCena will always be a true professional, doesn't need scripted lines, bullet points, or #stupidsrxualinuendos like @TheRock

**And here is an immediate response from Jim Ross:

**Despite rumours going around Bret Hart has said that no one has contacted him about inducting Yokozuna into the Hall of Fame. Yokozuna is expected to the final name announced for this year’s class.

**Ring of Honor has announced they will hold a Fan Fest event open to the public before their March 30th 'Showdown in the Sun' iPPV in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The fan fest will take place from 4-6pm leading into the show later that night.

**Jim Ross, Dustin Rhodes and Perry Saturn were both recently in Florida at the FCW training facility working with the developmental talent.

**Shane Douglas sat in the second row of last night's WWE RAW, wearing a lucha mask for much of the night.

**In a dark match from last night's WWE RAW, Brodus Clay defeated Michael McGillicutty.

**Flo Rida will play Duane Johnson to the ring for this year's WWE Wrestlemania.

**Matt Bloom, who wrestles for New Japan at Giant Beanard, has been rumored to have signed with the WWE. Bloom denied the claim on Twitter and said he'll be on the next WWE tour. Bloom wrestled for the WWE between 1997 and 2004 as Prince Albert, Albert, and A-Train.

**John Cena was involved in a car accident monday afternoon in Philadelphia after a tractor trailer hit an SUV, which in turn rear-ended Cena. He was not taken to the hospital but was checked out by medical personnel when he arrived at the Wells Fargo Center this afternoon. A lot of media picked up on the story including TMZ.

**Layla, who was out of action from an ACL tear, returned to the right at WWE's developmental territory, Florida Champion Wrestling, this week.

**TNA Impact Thursday earned a 1.1 cable rating with 1.5 million viewers.

**The WWE ‘Raw’ television tapings take place in Atlanta, Georgia tomorrow night for the final Raw before WrestleMania. It’s the biggest Raw of the year in terms of the final sell for WrestleMania and likely concluding with The Rock and John Cena having a big promo to end the show.

**The ‘Once in a Lifetime’ documentary / countdown special debuts tomorrow night on the USA Network at 8pm EST leading into ‘Raw’.

**The Associated Press spoke to The Rock promoting WrestleMania 28 and when asked about a match with Brock Lesnar at next year’s WrestleMania he said:

I'm not saying a thing.

I didn't say anything.

**Pro Wrestling NOAH is undergoing a major scandal that has caused a significant shakeup in the organization. It was revealed in a book that just put out that executives, Ryu Nakata and Haruka Eigen had ties to the Yakzua from 2003 – 2010 and both have resigned their positions with the company. The company has been bleeding money for years with a horrible slide in 2009 with the combination of losing their television deal with Nippon TV and the death of Mitsuharu Misawa in June of 2009 during a tag bout. I don’t know if this is the death knell for the company but is a horrible taint for any Japanese company to have cast upon them with the extreme example being the same scandal the Pride Fighting Championships went through in 2006 and that was the death of the company.

**Alberto Del Rio did an interview in Puerto Rico this weekend and said that he was originally going to be working Randy Orton at WrestleMania and then plans changed with Del Rio rumoured to be a part of Team Johnny. Del Rio said as of right now he does not expect to be wrestling on the card next weekend. We will know for sure tomorrow night on ‘Raw’ when the two teams are finalized.

**One person who will not be in the 12-man tag is Evan Bourne, who posted that he had broken his foot in four places and dislocated in five spots. He posted a photo of his foot with pins inserted and significantly swollen.

**The Undertaker got a mention from Bill Maher during the opening monologue of ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ on Friday night. Maher said that the obstacles in getting an abortion are getting so extreme that women will eventually have to beat ‘World Wrestling’s The Undertaker’.

Tim Zbyszko, real name Tim Whistler, son of Larry Zbyszko, will make his pro wrestling debut on April 7 at an independent show in Orlando. He has been training with Cody Hall, son of Scott Hall.

**PWinsider.com reports that the inductors for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony have been finalized with the following names scheduled:
*Christian to induct Edge
*Dusty Rhodes to induct The Four Horsemen
*Alberto Del Rio inducting Mil Mascaras
*Triple H and Shawn Michaels to induct Mike Tyson
*JBL inducting Ron Simmons
*Rikishi and The Usos to induct Yokozuna

**TNA’s head of talent relations Bruce Pritchard suffered two heart attacks this past week but is recovering. JBL posted the following message online today alerting people of his state:

Very happy one of my best friends Brother Love (Bruce Prichard) is ok after suffering two apparent heart attacks this past week. He's got two new stents and doctor says that according to his research he actually does have a heart. Very, very happy that my pal is ok. A few years ago Gerald Brisco, who hired me at WWE and is also good friend of mine and Bruce's, had a heart attack-so apparently both of them have a heart-who would have believed it?

**The WWE is releasing a CD on Tuesday featuring entrance music of various Hall of Fame inductees this year.

**Shane Haste was the wrestler who played Bobby Roode’s legal advisor on ‘Impact Wrestling’ last night and will be working the Ring of Honor iPPV next Friday night in Miami, Florida.

**WWE Studios has signed a distribution deal with Anchor Bay Films to distribute their upcoming release ‘The Day’.

**John Cena appeared on the Hot Clicks podcast on the Sports Illustrated website discussing the build for WrestleMania 28, his problems with The Rock’s business choices and how Rock said he wouldn’t come back to the WWE and is now back with the company. Cena also discusses The Rock’s return in the ‘PG Era’ and saying that some of his promos have not been met with the same reaction because it’s a different audience today and comes across dated at times.

**Hornswoggle apologized to The Rock on Twitter following his comments last week where he wrote:

Glad @TheRock needs to sing karaoke to get his $hit in. @JohnCena will always be a true professional, doesn't need scripted lines, bullet points, or #stupidsrxualinuendos like @TheRock

Hornswoggle wrote that he spoke to The Rock at ‘Raw’ and posted a picture with the words ‘I’m Sorry’ on his own wrist and The Rock wrote in response:

@wwehornswoggle Thank U but not needed. Its what friends do - talk it out. Plus, if U took a swing at me you'd hit my balls.#NoBallShots

**WrestleMania week officially kicked off Wednesday with the WrestleMania 28 press conference in Miami. WWE and Miami-Dade County announced they expect fans from more than 36 countries to attend this years show, held Sunday at Sun Life Stadium. The county also proclaimed this week officially as "WrestleMania Week" there and presented Triple H with a key to the county. Both John Cena and The Rock were in attendance, but neither had much to say. They posed for pictures as the press conference came to an end, with Rock playfully jabbing Cena in the stomach as he walked away.

**Maria Menounos will still be part of WWE Wrestlemania after suffering two broken ribs this past weekend while training for Dancing with the Stars. It is unknown if she will still wrestle, though.

**The WWE has announced on their website that Ric Flair will be at the Hall of Fame this Saturday night in Miami, Florida for the induction of The Four Horsemen into the Hall of Fame. WWE worked a deal with TNA. The company has confirmed that the inductions of Edge, The Four Horsemen and Mike Tyson will air on TV this Monday night at 8pm EST on the USA Network.

**Guess WWE is seeing some value in this long-range planning idea -- there is a lot of buzz about The Rock returning next year at WrestleMania to face ... Brock Lesnar. As well, CM Punk versus Stone Cold Steve Austin is apparently being talked about. The other rumour of a big return by Shawn Michaels has been denied by HBK, but perhaps that will depend on the finish of Undertaker versus Triple H, with Michaels as the ref on Sunday.

**The Hell In A Cell pay-per-view was announced for the Philips Arena in Atlanta on October 28, 2012.

**The Chicago Tribute has an extensive interview with CM Punk discussing myriad topics including his new contract he signed last summer, dating and his new role in the WWE locker room and features comments from Kofi Kingston and Maria Kanellis in the piece.

**I don’t think you could find a better clip to sell the GRUDGE between John Cena and The Rock than this one:

**The WWE will be releasing the classic ‘No Holds Barred’ movie from 1989 starring Hulk Hogan and Zeus for the first time on DVD July 3rd of this year. They will also be releasing ‘The Day’ this August and ‘Barricade’ in September, which are WWE Studios films. The horror film ‘No One Lives’ featuring Brodus Clay is being targeted for early 2012 and Randy Orton will be the star of ‘Marine: Homefront’ that begins shooting in Vancouver this June. It is the third film of the franchise from WWE Studios, which was originally written for Steve Austin but his team turned it down and led to John Cena starring in the first movie in 2006 and then Ted DiBiase starred in the sequel in 2010.

**Cameron Cemen has been hired by the WWE as their new Senior Director of Talent Relations and replaces Ty Bailey’s post following his release two-weeks ago.

**E! News has announced a ton of WWE related stories for this week and began last night with a look at talent that have crossed over to the mainstream, tonight features a sit down interview with The Rock, Thursday focuses on the Diva’s and Friday will take a look at reality stars coming to the WWE with profiles on The Miz and David Otunga.

**On Friday night Ring of Honor and Dragon Gate USA go head to head with competing iPPV events. The ROH card is Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday night headlined by Davey Richards Vs Eddie Edwards Vs Roderick Strong for the ROH Title and airing at GFL.tv. The Dragon Gate USA event is headlined on Friday by CIMA & Ricochet Vs Johnny Gargano & Chuck Taylor for the Open the United Gate Title and airing on WWNLive.com and both shows kick off at 8pm EST. Both promotions runs a second iPPV on Saturday with ROH running at 1pm EST and Dragon Gate USA airing at 8pm EST on Saturday night.

**Rob Van Dam is attempting raise money for a documentary called ‘Boardwalk Hempire: The Rise and Fall of the Medical Kush Beach Club’ that he an Executive Producer on along with Tommy Chong. Below is a trailer for the documentary:

*Here is the full and complete card for WrestleMania 28 following ‘Raw’ Monday night:
*The Rock Vs John Cena
*The Undertaker Vs Triple H with Shawn Michaels as the Guest Referee in a Hell in a Cell Match
*CM Punk Vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title
*Daniel Bryan Vs Sheamus for the World Title
*Team Johnny (David Otunga & Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger & Mark Henry & The Miz & Drew McIntyre) Vs Team Teddy (Santino Marella & Kofi Kingston & R-Truth & Great Khali & Zack Ryder & Booker T)
*Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres Vs Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly
*Cody Rhodes Vs Big Show for the Intercontinental Title
*Kane Vs Randy Orton

**Christian was removed from the 12-man tag as he continues to have problems with his high ankle sprain he sustained last year and has kept him out of action for six-months. It shows the limited depth they have right now where Drew McIntyre backed himself into a spot with zero storyline and rarely on television over the past month as well as wrapping up whatever storyline The Miz was doing where the idea was he would go from main event to being off the show in the course of a year. Rey Mysterio’s knee was nowhere near 100% and couldn’t be called upon for the match, Sin Cara is still hurt and Evan Bourne just messed up his foot and that eliminated all three of those options for Team Teddy.

WWF WRESTLEMANIA sunday! Take off work. Split the crazy 60 dollar cost with 5 other wrestling buddies and your girlfriend. Purhcase beer or weed or your favorite form of relaxatuion medication and a big bowl of popcorn and enjoy the SHOWCASE OF THE IMMORTALS!

:) WRESTLEMANIA !!! Live from FLORIDA

Rocky Maivia versus John Cena

Plus WWF CHAMPIONSHIP CM Punk vs. Y2J Chris Jericho

and Undertaker versus Hunter HEarst Helmsely!

and dont forget the World champ (the old WCW belt) is defended by that dork Bryan Danielson against Sheamus O'Sheamus!

Plus INTERCONTENTAL CHAMPION Cody Rhodes defends his white belt against the man called.....The Big SHow Paul Wight. (Yes the man who threw Stoned Cold thru the cage at ST Valentines Day MAssacre in Your House back in 99, and pulled Boss Man's daddy's casket thru a cemtary with the bluesmobile and of course is best known for the piece of shit movie Kunckhead that anyone under 6 but over 5 will enjoy!

I think also on the card is a Team Johhnny vs Team Teddy match which i dont remember who is in it. Anyone who needs a fat paycheck from this event.

And of course the Viper Orton is wrestling against the big red retard KANE!

Will we see a cameo by Road Dogg Jesses James?

Will HBK help Undertaker win (probably)?

And will Dolph Ziggler get his WM match> Find out this sunday on WWF WRESTLEMANIA!!

There will prolly be a worthless womens match.

Maybe the tag title would be defended but dont count on it!

I cannot wait! :) There is usually a match on the FREE FOR ALL or SuDAY NiGHT HeAT before the show as well. Sometimes this match makes the DVD so we will see if good old Tyson Kidd and Trent BAretta get a match here. I pray they do because these 2 are my favorite. Maybe they can even let Tyler Rex the enforcer and Curt HAwkings ref the match
