**Chris Harris was backstage at TNA Lockdown Sunday.

**Booker T will have a new web show named "Reality of Wrestling" debuting on May 1.
**The WWE continues their European tour on Friday with the ‘Raw’ crew in Toulouse, France and the ‘Smackdown’ crew is in Cardiff, Wales. They continues with shows on Friday and Saturday before flying back to the U.S. for the three-hour edition of ‘Raw’ on Monday night in Detroit.

**TNA is in Orlando, Florida tonight for their second straight night of television tapings with the April 26th show being taped tonight and setting up their next pay-per-view, ‘Sacrifice’, that goes May 13th from Orlando.

**WWE ‘Raw’ did a 3.08 rating on Monday night and averaged 4,390,000 viewers for the taped show from London, England (remember that when people argue live as opposed to tape delay, though you can cite TUF as a much better example).

**The unique Mick Foley / Dean Ambrose angle they are working online continues with a blog from Foley stating he will not work with Ambrose because he crossed the line and tweeted about Foley’s children. If you have been following this for the past few weeks it’s been one of the most original WWE angles in years and has been built strictly for the online audience but the drawback is that relegates the audience to a small percentage of those watching WWE programming every week and the key will be taking this story from the internet and transferring it to television so everyone understands the back story and it’s not one of many WCW angles from 2000 where they assumed the audience was aware of what was on the internet.

**Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) announced at a 2CW event this past weekend that he has signed a WWE developmental deal and will be relocating to Florida and relinquished the promotion’s title.

**Austin Aries recently conducted an interview with Sports Vibe in the U.K. and gave the following answer regarding his current thoughts on the Ring of Honor product:

I'll be really honest with you, the Ring of Honor today is not anything like the Ring of Honor that the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and myself came from. Obviously they are still operating under the same name, but the company has changed so much over the years and it's really a shell of it's former self in terms of the vision and thought process. The original Ring of Honor and the Ring of Honor today are two completely different things, I like to call it Smokey Mountain of Honor.

**The WWE has posted a video on their website of Lilian Garcia being introduced at the ‘Smackdown’ tapings on Tuesday night in London, England and tripping on her way to the ring.

****The WWE sent out a press release today announcing that WrestleMania 28 did 1,300,000 buys and grossed $67,000,000 worldwide and stating it was the largest number in history, which is both true and false. It is the highest number in WWE history as it surpasses the 1,250,000 buys for WrestleMania 23 in 2007 (Vince McMahon and Donald Trump putting up their hair as the main draw) but there are three Boxing cards that have done higher (Floyd Mayweather Vs Oscar De La Hoya from May 2007 being the highest with 2,150,000, Lennox Lewis Vs Mike Tyson doing 1,900,000 in 2002 and Manny Pacquiao Vs Juan Manuel Marquez did 1,410,000 buys last November) as well as UFC 100 with Brock Lesnar Vs Frank Mir, Georges St-Pierre Vs Thiago Alves and the novelty of it being UFC 100 garnering 1,600,000 in 2009 so WWE can legitimately claim fifth on the all-time list for all pay-per-view events in history with this year’s show.

The number is a big success for the company as originally projections were for the show to do 1.3 million but those prognostications had been lowered in the week leading into the show. Another issue to take into account is that traditionally as more outlets report buys the final numbers gets a bit of a slight bump (though it has also occurred where the final number is slightly less the first reported number).

**The announcement of WrestleMania 28’s success did not make a dent on Wall Street and in fact has led to WWE stock continuing to dwindle closing at $7.97 today and is the lowest the stock has been in nine-years.

**Friday night’s replay of ‘Smackdown’ did a 1.6 rating and 2,300,000 viewers so a very strong number considering it wasn’t the first-run of the show.

**Kayfabe Commentaries is set to release another ‘Guest Booker’ DVD with Kevin Sullivan and Gabe Sapolsky booking TNA under the premise that the two of them were brought in to turn the company around. The trailer for the DVD is below:

**The WWE has announced on their website that Brock Lesnar Vs John Cena will be a No DQ and No Countout match at ‘Extreme Rules’ on April 29th in Chicago, Illinois. The WWE has also posted a picture of Lesnar in his new gear on the WWE website with his fighter shorts, MMA gloves and wrestling boots to contrast his old ring attire during his first run with the company.

**CM Punk Vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title has officially been added to ‘Extreme Rules’ on April 29th.

Wrestling, in general, pretty much sucks now.

I don't think Lesnar is the answer.

**Last night's WWE RAW earned a 3.0 cable rating with 4.38 million viewers off hours of 2.48, 3.22 and 3.41.

**Former WCW and WWE wrestler Marcus Bagwell was in a serious automobile accident this past weekend. He is intensive care with broken bones in his face and neck injuries.

**John Cena and CM Punk defeated Kane and Chris Jericho in a dark match from last night's WWE RAW in Detroit.

**Beth Phoenix was not injured on ‘Raw’ last night it was just an incredible selling job on her ankle. The Bella’s contracts with the company expire at the end of the month so they are still available for the pay-per-view this Sunday and next Monday’s ‘Raw’ in Dayton, Ohio.

**Edge’s contract that he mentioned on ‘Raw’ last night is up at the end of the month as well and that is one of the reasons he was at the show to discuss the deal and likely work out an agreement.

**Big Show Vs Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Title has been added to ‘Extreme Rules’ this Sunday in Chicago.

**The WWE announced today that they have released ‘Tough Enough’ winner Andy Leavine. Leavine came onto the show with a pre-existing WWE deal and had been working in Florida Championship Wrestling before winning the contest last June. Leavine was suspended last year for a Wellness Policy violation and was said to be a long way from being ready to be called up to the main roster and this was around the time the television spots stopped airing tracking his progress. ‘Tough Enough’ finalist Luke Robinson was openly mocking Leavine today on Twitter and referring to himself as the real winner of the show.

**Steve Austin posted the following regarding Andy Leavine’s release from the WWE:

Big Andy won Tough Enough. All day long and twice on Sunday. Thanks for your passion and opinions. Like it or not...He won. End of story.

**Following ‘Raw’ on Monday night in Detroit Vince McMahon came out and brought out the entire locker room to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to John Cena with Triple H and CM Punk leading the singing.

**A new film out called Fake it So Real, a documentary about independent wrestling in North Carolina, has been getting some rave reviews. Roger Ebert gave the movie 3-and-a-half stars in his review. http://www.fakeitsoreal.com

this was really well done. i bought it until after the match when the camera stayed with beth- that's not something they do for injuries not to mention a title switch where the focus should be on the winner. even then i wasn't entirely sure, so beth did a great job there.

the lesnar contract thing was pretty atrocious. dude was lost. big johnny isn't the guy to help him get through it either. they should know better- lesnar should not be asked to carry a talking segment, ever.

agreed on both points. weird injury to make such a focus though (which made it more believable for me).

**Here are the matches set for TNA ‘Impact Wrestling’ tonight at 9pm EST and taped last week in Orlando, Florida:
*Devon Vs Bully Ray for the Television Title
*Kurt Angle Vs Anarquia
*Robbie E Vs Alex Silva in the ‘Gut Check Challenge’
*Gail Kim Vs Brooke Tessmacher in a non-title match
*Samoa Joe & Magnus Vs Jeff Hardy & Mr. Anderson for the Tag Titles

**The WWE announced on their website today that Rey Mysterio (Oscar Gutierrez) has been suspended for 60-days following his second failure of the company Wellness Policy. Mysterio was first suspended in September 2009 for failing a test (the drug he failed for was never announced publicly as is company policy) with Mysterio claiming at the time he was prescribed the drug by a doctor but was unable to produce the prescription in enough time and was suspended as a result. Mysterio has been off of television since last August when he worked on a bad knee and required surgery but based on the timing of this failure indicates that he was likely tested during WrestleMania weekend when he was flown to Miami. Mysterio had recently stated he was close to a full recovery and was hoping to be back on the road in May.

**Ring of Honor is in Chicago Ridge, Illinois this Saturday for their ‘Unity’ card featuring The Briscoe Brothers Vs Hallowicked & Jigsaw from CHIKARA along with Davey Richards & Kyle O’Reilly Vs Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas. The company then holds a show in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday night.

**Chicago is going to be incredibly busy wrestling wise this weekend with a Saturday afternoon event from CHIKARA featuring Eddie Kingston Vs Kevin Steen, Ring of Honor at 5pm later that day and then WWE ‘Extreme Rules’ on Sunday night at the Allstate Arena.

**The Extreme Reunion event this Saturday night in Philadelphia will be available the next day on their website at http://extremereunion.net/ as a digital download.

**Kane (Glen Jacobs) turns 45-years old today.

*Former WCW wrestler Marcus ‘Buff’ Bagwell is still in intensive care following a horrible car wreck on Monday night where his Jeep flipped a number of times on the Towne Lake Parkway in Cherokee County, Georgia. TMZ has obtained the police report in which it stated Bagwell called his wife at approximately 1:30pm that day saying he was about to have a seizure. In the accident Bagwell broke his neck and has had his jaw wired shut with no additional updates available at this time. Bagwell broke his neck once prior in March 1998 when he took a top rope bulldog Rick Steiner on a live edition of WCW ‘Thunder’ and his head slipped out upon landing.

**TNA announced they will be moving ‘Impact Wrestling’ to a new timeslot at 8pm EST starting Thursday May 31st. The press release stated that they feel there is more of an audience available to them with the earlier start time. TNA launched on Spike TV in October 2005 with a Saturday night slot at 11pm EST and were then moved to Thursday night at 11pm EST in 2006 before getting a two-hour prime time slot in October 2007 with the current Thursdays at 9pm EST slot. During that time they also experimented with going on Monday nights head to head with ‘Raw’ at 9pm EST and was a disaster even when they eventually moved to 8pm EST on Monday nights before reverting back to Thursday nights and realizing they could not compete head to head with WWE on Monday nights. This could also lead to Bellator being moved to Thursday nights at 10pm EST following Impact and having the highest rated show on Spike serving as a lead-in for Bellator and moving ‘MMA Uncensored Live’ to another night of the week. Bellator will remain on MTV2 until the end of the year before they can move to Spike TV in January.

**Buff Bagwell is facing surgeries on his neck, jaw and face. The doctors were awaiting the swelling to go down so they could operate on him. It’s been reported that he broke his neck in two places following his car wreck on Monday where his Jeep flipped numerous times after alerting his wife he was about to have a seizure.
***UPDATE **
Marcus ‘Buff’ Bagwell’s condition has improved to the point he is breathing and able to eat on his own at this point. He has a very long road to recovery ahead of himself but his progress at this point has to be considered a miracle
considering the state he was in following his accident on Monday afternoon.

**Here are the current matches listed for TNA ‘Sacrifice’ on May 13th in Orlando, Florida:
*Bobby Roode Vs Rob Van Dam for the TNA Title
*Kurt Angle Vs A.J. Styles
*Samoa Joe & Magnus Vs Kazarian & Christopher Daniels for the Tag Titles

**To those criticizing the ‘Extreme Reunion’ event promoted by Shane Douglas and there are issues to criticize, what you cannot deny is demand or better yet curioisty in 2012 as there were 2,400 people that attended the show on Saturday
night and is the biggest independent show thus far of the year and blows and more than triple what TNA did at their house shows this weekend. The crowd came for nostalgia but were quick to voice their displeasure when they were not happy with what they were seeing including chants of ‘end the show’, ‘Fuck you Shane’ and ‘Refund’. Here are the results from the show:
*The Dramatics over Ruckus & Blk Jeez (CZW talent was used on the show as it was their ring being used for the show)
*CW Anderson over Al Snow
*Axl Rotten over Balls Mahoney
*Jerry Lynn over Devon Storm
*Shane Douglas over 2 Cold Scorpio

Much like Douglas’ first ‘Hardcore Homecoming’ show back in 2005 the first show was a success but with nostalgia it’s a law of diminishing returns and if the intent is to run shows regularly with this crew then it’s likely going to be afaster decline than in 2005 where ECW was a hotter property and had not been dragged through the reunion routine to the degree it has in 2012. I would say every couple of years you could pull this off (but with age it’s hard to say this could even be pulled off in five-years) as a nostalgia event where fans get to relive the ‘glory days’ for one night but it’s hard to expect this concept to work as a regular touring enterprise after the same idea failed seven-years ago.

**Sabu was scheduled to work the main event but was pulled from the show earlier in the day when he was found in his hotel room in no condition to perform. Sabu was then rushed to the hospital and a representative from the
promotion told TMZ that:

Sabu was found unresponsive in his hotel room earlier today when event staff went to his room to pick him up for tonight's show. Management is currently awaiting results from his doctors to find out what actually happened. All we know is that he had prior health issues that might have been a contributing factor. We're pulling for him and are very concerned for his health. We wish him the best of luck in his recovery.

He has since checked himself out of the hospital.

**Justin Credible was also removed from the show during the day when he was deemed in no condition to perform either.

**TNA is in Orlando, Florida on Monday and Tuesday night for the May 3rd and 10th editions of ‘Impact Wrestling. TNA has announced the following matches for this week’s show that will be taped Monday night:
*Bobby Roode Vs Mystery Opponent (chosen by Rob Van Dam)
*Rob Van Dam Vs Mystery Opponent (chosen by Bobby Roode)
*Samoa Joe & Magnus & A.J. Styles Vs Kurt Angle & Kazarian & Christopher Daniels
*Gail Kim & Madison Rayne Vs Velvet Sky & Brooke Tessmacher

**The Rock noted on Twitter that this weekend he was shooting fight scenes for his upcoming film ‘Pain and Gain’ with Kurt Angle and that is why Angle was off the TNA house shows this past weekend.

**Edge’s contract with the WWE is set to expire on Tuesday and it looks as if he will be unaffiliated with the WWE at least from a contractual standpoint as the two sides did not come to a deal in the past week. Edge is already announced for the Resistance Pro Wrestling event on May 11th as a special guest at the show in Chicago and is headlined by Harry Smith Vs Rhino.

**The WWE is working more and more angles online with Zack Ryder complaining about his ‘Z! True Long Island Story’ being censored for the second straight week with the reveal that it is Eve Torres, who is cutting out portions of the
show. This goes along with other viral angles including the Dean Ambrose Vs Mick Foley program and Beth Phoenix’s ankle injury.

**EVOLVE has announced that Low Ki will take on Jigsaw May 11th in Charlotte, North Carolina and then take on Jon Davis May 12th in Concord, North Carolina.

**Chris Jericho's band Fozzy will be touring in August and September, and Jericho will not be wrestling at that time.

**The Bellas are officially done with the WWE. They will be doing multiple upcoming wrestling conventions.

**Brock Lesnar was reportedly angry backstage at Sunday's WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view after Cena cut a promo to end the show. Lesnar thought Cena was to be laid out, looking like Lesnar came out looking like he got the last shot. Lesnar is said to have thrown some chairs in his anger with the WWE booking team.

**Anarquia has been released by TNA.

**Ring of Honor announced today that ‘Border Wars’ and all future iPPV events will be available on their own website with the ‘Showdown in the Sun’ events posted on the site at a discounted price of $9.95 and ‘Border Wars’ available for pre-order at $14.95 and a 15% discount if you are a ‘Ringside’ member. The shows are available at http://www.rohwrestling.com/ippv.

**The WWE releases their first-quarter earnings report today with a net income of $15.3 million on revenues of $123.1 million as compared to $13.2 million on revenues of $119.9 million for last year’s first-quarter. Here is how the quarter breaks down in the major categories:
*Live Events - $22.2 million on 75 events (up from $19.6 million on 77 events)
*Pay-Per-View - $13.5 million (same as last year but the price per buy increased and that offset numbers being slightly down from the year prior and making up for a 22,000 buy decline for the ‘Elimination Chamber’ show)
*Television Rights Fees - $32.5 million (up from $31.6 million)
*Live event merchandise - $5.1 million (up from $4.6 million)
*Classics on Demand - $1.0 million (down from $1.1 million)
*Home Video - $9.2 million (up from $8.1 million) – this was explained as a result of higher sell through rates of prior releases and a drop in average unit price of 27% through various discounts on older units as well as less units shipped out in the prior quarter
*Licensing - $24.2 million (up from $23.9 million)
*Magazine Publishing - $1.4 million (down from $2.2 million) and I would classify the WWE Magazine as an endangered species at this point. It might be an idea to reconsider the print edition and make it a digital property on their platforms
*WWE.com - $3.9 million (up from $2.7 million) this includes their new programming deal with YouTube, which paid $1-million to a number of outlets to supply content for them. This prior quarter also saw the WWE re-launch their website, which was said to have cost in the area of $2-million for the re-design
*WWEShop - $3.2 million (same as 2011)
*WWE Studios - $4.8 million (down from $8.6 million) and this includes a $800,000 impairment charge for ‘Bending the Rules’ that came out in Q1 as compared to last year’s Q1 release of ‘The Chaperone’.

**Here are the updated pay-per-view figures from the first quarter:
*Royal Rumble – 443,000 buys worldwide (down from 446,000)
This year’s show featured CM Punk Vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title, Daniel Bryan Vs Mark Henry Vs Big Show in a Steel Cage Match for the World Title and the Rumble match itself. The 2011 show was built around the Rumble (with the last minute buzz of Booker T and Kevin Nash returning getting leaked) along with Edge Vs Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Title and The Miz Vs Randy Orton for the WWE Title.
*Elimination Chamber – 178,000 buys worldwide (down from 199,000 buys in 2011) – this year featured the two Elimination Chamber matches for the WWE and World Titles as well as an Ambulance Match between John Cena and Kane and last year’s show has the two Chamber matches along with The Miz Vs Jerry Lawler for the WWE Title.

**The WWE noted in their release that pay-per-view numbers domestically remained while the same while international buys saw an 8% decrease year over year.

**The WWE Q&A that followed the conference call largely revolved around questions regarding the WWE Network. George Barrios said they hope to have a list of distributors out in the next three-months but no target date has been set for the network to launch. Vince McMahon said the holdup was on their end and not the distributors and are monitoring a number of different models in how to best roll out the network. The company said they expect their overall earnings in 2012 to not achieve the level of 2011 with WWE Studios and the WWE Network requiring a lot of costs.

**Jerry Lawler attended the Memphis Grizzlies Vs L.A. Clippers game on Wednesday and was shown on TNT at halftime giving a piledriver to a Clippers fan on the court. I am hoping this makes it to air on ‘Raw’ Monday night.

**The TNA crew has three house shows coming up this weekend in California with a show in Ontario on Friday night, Bakersfield on Saturday and Vesalia on Sunday.

**Davey Richards confirmed on Twitter he will be at ‘Border Wars’ on May 12th to work the main event with Kevin Steen following his car accident this past week where he was rear-ended by a driver.

**The WWE has posted a bunch of old Ultimate Warrior interviews on their website.

**TNA President Dixie Carter was a guest recently on the Sirius/XM ‘Busted Open’
radio show and gave the following statement regarding pay-per-view for the
company:

Our focus in the past has been growing our television brand. And, again, when you only have one show to try to drive people to it, it's too many pay-per-views for only having one show. It's very difficult to try to do big
arching pay-per-views once a month with only one two-hour show. If we had two shows, it would be much easier, three it would be much much easier. But I think the pay-per-view business is a declining business and we've gotta stay current with new technology. People are not even watching television the way they did
twenty-four, eighteen months ago. All of the headlines today are about the shrinking ratings. It's not that the viewership is down as much, but people are watching differently: they're watching on their phones, their iPads, they're
DVR-ing, and it's gonna change. Things in the next twelve to twenty-four months are gonna change as well.

**Following all of the negative criticism coming out of this past weekend’s ‘Extreme Reunion’ event in Philadelphia, Shane Douglas posted the following video on Wednesday morning outlining changes they will be making including Douglas announcing he will no longer be wrestling for the promotion and apologizing for the actions of a few
from this past weekend:

**CM Punk has stated in a recent interview that Paul Heyman will be heading to WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut later this month to be interviewed for his forthcoming DVD. Heyman will also be doing commentary with Punk on a number of matches for the DVD, which is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated
WWE DVD’s in some time. Heyman was extremely (pardon the pun) instrumental in Punk’s beginning stages within the WWE working with Punk in Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2005 and 2006 after he signed a developmental and then bringing
Punk to the re-vamped ECW in June 2006.

**Devon Nicholson discusses Abdullah the Butcher situation and Kurt Angle:

This is part of what makes the WWE so lucky to have such large market share. They can afford to absorb losses that might come and continue to survive, even if they don't make all the right moves at the right time. TNA is on much shakier ground.

Steiner's had enough of TNA
Slams Hogan, Bischoff while gearing up for Ottawa-area show
Image
By TIM BAINES - Ottawa Sun

At age 49, Big Poppa Pump, Scott Steiner, is still in the ring, entertaining wrestling fans.

Just as entertaining these days are his Twitter attacks on Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, who call many of the shots in TNA, a company which Steiner worked for until March.

"Bischoff is trying to push his son (Garrett), the son that has no athletic background. (Hogan and Bischoff) have no respect for the business or for the wrestlers.

"It's bulls--t the way they're treating people. I've been tweeting about them for four weeks and not one thing I've said has been denied. They're both pieces of s--t. I have zero respect for either one of them. I go to wrestling conventions, I talk to guys. A lot of guys are totally behind what I say.

Steiner was offered an contract extension in TNA in January.

"I was fed up," he said. "Hogan, Bischoff and (Tom) Pritchard were writing the storylines ... bad storylines.

"(Bischoff's kid) can't even throw a clothesline. Eric's going to get his own ass kicked and once he leaves TNA, his son is going to get his face punched.

"Hogan and Bischoff are used car salesmen. This would never happen in a normal workplace. You can't go into a workplace and totally disrespect all your employees.

"It's not like we haven't seen this before. With WCW, they took a multi-billion-dollar company and ran it into the ground. TNA is a sinking ship. It will go under if they don't change the direction. The place is a zoo. (Hogan) has been there 2 1/2 years, where are his great ideas? You go take over somewhere else and drive it into the ground for 2 1/2 years with the worst ideas ever. What happens to you then? Poor Bob Carter, who put his money into (TNA).

"It's always about Hogan ... he lives in a fantasy world. Hogan has done the things he's always done: Put a thumb on people and keep them down. Like when he cut down Kurt Angle and said Kurt had two left feet. I've seen Hogan back down a couple of times, for real, with Kurt Angle and Randy Savage. Savage went up to Hogan's face, dropped his bag ... Hogan turned and walked away. Kurt Angle could beat Hogan's ass."

Steiner will face Jeremy Prophet in the main event of Hannibal Pro Wrestling's show at the Smiths Falls Community Memorial Centre on Saturday, at 7:30 p.m.

"I'm feeling pretty good, my health is good, for the most part," said Steiner. "I've had the best doctors. They've put me back together. Injuries are part of the sport and I've had my share. The best thing about wrestling is performing in front of a live crowd. I still enjoy it. I realize I'm at the end of my career. And I realize that once you're done, you're done for good."

Some wrestlers hang around, maybe a bit too long.

"Ric Flair looks terrible. He's embarrassing," said Steiner.

Steiner almost died after an in-ring incident in Puerto Rico in 2007.

"I had five hours to live," he said. "I got kicked in the throat, by accident. I went back to the hotel and I started getting cold a couple of hours later. I had to get to emergency. I had a torn trachea by my chest. They had to open up my lungs and rib cage. It wasn't the greatest time. I had just lost a friend to cancer and a month later I was fighting for my own life."

Steiner says it's a good thing TNA didn't put a championship belt on Hogan.

"It would have killed TNA in less than a year," said Steiner. "My purpose is to give back to wrestling. I appreciate guys like Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton, how they passed the torch. I was trying to do the same, it's not like I try to stay in the spotlight."

Steiner looks back with disain on an infamous wrestling moment: Putting the WCW championship on actor David Arquette.

"It was a joke," said Steiner. "They didn't just tarnish the championship, they tarnished WCW."

Steiner's animosity toward Hogan and Bischoff is real. It's no work.

"I will see Hogan again and he's going to find out how ruthless I really am," said Steiner.

**The WWE has released Dustin Rhodes, who was working as a producer with the company since leaving the ring after an injury in 2010. There was an issue regarding a match he put together at the ‘Smackdown’ television tapings on April 24th in Grand Rapids, Michigan involving the Titus O’Neil & Darren Young Vs Yoshi Tatsu & Ezekiel Jackson.

**The failures of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) continue with the upstart network closing in on $330-million in losses since their launch in January 2011. The WWE and Vince McMahon specifically have cited the mistakes made by OWN in comparison to their own network launch and OWN not basing the network around their core product, which is Oprah herself and that they have a core product and that is what they will present.

**TNA is listing the following pay-per-view dates for the rest of the year in their programs:
*June 10th – ‘Slammiversary’ from Arlington, Texas
*July 8th – ‘Victory Road’ (this will be the night after UFC 148 and is expected to be the biggest UFC show of the year headlined by Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen)
*August 12th – ‘Hardcore Justice’
*September 9th – ‘No Surrender’
*October 14th – ‘Bound for Glory’
*November 11th – ‘Turning Point’
*December 9th – ‘Final Resolution’

**Ring of Honor posted a sneak peek of their ‘Best in the World’ poster (which is their next iPPV on June 24th) featuring Davey Richards wearing the ROH Title along with Fit Finlay and Maria Kanellis on the poster.

**CMT has inked a development deal with Steve Austin and are producing a show called ‘Redneck Island’ with Austin hosting the show and putting twelve contestants on an island to compete for $100,000.

**CM Punk will be throwing out the first pitch and singing during the seventh inning stretch at the Chicago Cubs game on Tuesday.

**Former ‘Saved by the Bell’ actor Dennis Haskins was at the WWE house show in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Sunday and also appeared on AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ Sunday night.

**The WWE’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for Media Relations and Public Affairs Rob Zimmerman has left the company.

**The three-disc WrestleMania 28 DVD and Blu Ray will be released today and features the entire event, the Hall of Fame ceremony along with the WrestleMania press conference and pre-show match with Primo & Epico Vs Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel.

**There were lots of posts and remembrances for Owen Hart online yesterday as he would have been 47-years old. Hart died on May 23rd 1999 at the WWE ‘Over the Edge’ event in Kansas City, Missouri at Kemper Arena and at the time was the biggest story in the history of professional wrestling when he died.

**Triple H joined 50 Cent and Justin Bieber during Floyd Mayweather’s entrance Sat night before his fight with Miguel Cotto. For those curious he had a brace on his hand that was hard to see as a VERY subtle nod to the Brock Lesnar angle.

**Tommy Dreamer has an article posted on the suicide of Junior Seau.

**The new Pusha T song ‘I Don’t Like’ features a Ric Flair reference.

this video is at least a couple of years old and you'd think it was done yesterday.

He's right that TNA's stupid, but not because it's good right now and they just need to move ahead to "win the gold in years 5-15 from now." Sure, that was one of WCW's big problems--they were good but weren't building the young talent like they needed to. But, TNA going for the old guys doesn't work because the old guys aren't any good right now. For that reason, he's wrong on pro sports, especially a sport like baseball with minor leagues and free agency. The Yankees aren't TNA-bad because they've got a bunch of older players because those players are still good. Just not a very good analogy. Players need experience, yeah, but the whole process of building is different. Keeping a few older wrestlers around, bringing a few others back, these aren't bad for an org in themselves. It's when you make them the sole focus, like Heyman says, but the spotlight and PR emphasis doesn't determine winning sports teams, while wrestlijng is all presentation.

Also, Paul Heyman sounds like Rush Limbaugh.

**Paul Heyman is rumored to be making an appearance on tonight's WWE RAW

**David Otunga is expected back on WWE television soon after he took some personal time off to support his fiancé Jennifer Hudson during the trial against her former brother-in-law.

**Silver Vision, the distributor of WWE DVDs in Europe, has suspended new sales of WWE titles. Although no problem has been listed, it is rumored that WWE will have a new distributor. Silver Vision has been the distributor of WWE titles in Europe since the 1980s.

**The recent Mayweather-Cotto boxing pay-per-view had 1.5 million buys vs. this year's WWE Wrestlemania, which has 1.3 buys.

**Dustin Runnells is now taking independent bookings under Dustin Rhodes or as Goldust.

**Gabe Sapolsky posted the following message on Facebook today:

When the ownership and management of a company doesn't care or have enough respect for its employees and more importantly paying customers to spend enough money to have adequate equipment they can fuck off. When a company decides to go on the cheap and take a risk that something like a website will work instead of doing everything in their power to guarantee it will work they can fuck off. If the ownership and management doesn't care or respect it's fans enough to do this they don't deserve your support.

**The WWE ‘Smackdown’ tapings are in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night.

**It was reported Thursday that John Cena has filed for divorce from his wife Liz after three-years of marriage. Cena filed and stated that his marriage was ‘irretrievably broken’. Cena’s wife has hired Raymond Rafool to represent her for the divorce proceedings and is the same legal council that Linda Bollea hired during her divorce hearing with Hulk Hogan. TMZ noted in their report that Liz signed a pre-nup agreement prior to their marriage in 2009.

**TMZ has more on the John Cena divorce story including a source telling TMZ that Cena had been very vocal in the back about his marriage problems.

**Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal was a guest on ‘MMA Uncensored Live’ on Thursday night along with Bellator C.E.O. Bjorn Rebney and TNA President Dixie Carter. Lawal stated he would not fight until at least January with Bellator and will be reporting to Ohio Valley Wrestling for training once his knee is healed. Lawal said on the show that his favourite wrestlers were Ric Flair, Booker T and The Great Muta. When Carter was asked about Lawal’s recent drug test failure she said that they do conduct drug testing in TNA and Lawal will be tested heavily by both organizations.

**The WWE has added R-Truth & Kofi Kingston defending the Tag Titles against Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler to the ‘Over the Limit’ pay-per-view on May 20th in Raleigh, North Carolina.

**Brian Kendrick has been added to the New Japan Best of the Super Juniors tournament coming up at the end of the month.

**The New Yorker has a really interesting article on Brock Lesnar returning to the WWE.

**Ring of Honor C.O.O. Joe Koff held a conference call with members of the media on Tuesday . Koff expressed his apologies for the failings of their server on Saturday night that led to the iPPV problems with ‘Border Wars’ and would be doing everything in their power to ensure those problems are corrected for ‘Best in the World’ on June 24th. Koff stated they had a record amount of people logging into watch the show and there was no way to replicate those numbers for a test prior to the event. He also stated that the problems associated with the CM Punk Vs Bryan Danielson match from last Wednesday had nothing to do with the iPPV problems and they were separate issues. The company has given out few refunds because people have been happy that the replay was posted and is optimistic that fans will be forgiving of the company. In outside related notes he said doing a special ‘Clash of the Champions’ style of show on Sinclair would not be hard to put together but it wouldn’t be happening this year and shot down the idea of returning to traditional pay-per-view because it wouldn’t be cost effective for them to spend so much to put on a show.

**WWE ‘Raw’ did a 2.94 rating on Monday night and averaged 4,210,000 viewers.

**Mark Henry posted on Twitter Monday night that he was undergoing surgery on Tuesday for an undisclosed injury. Henry stated if he couldn’t return to his prior level then he would walk away.

**TNA performer Tara (Lisa Marie Varon) has announced she will be featured in the upcoming edition of Penthouse Magazine.

**Ring of Honor is in Baltimore, Maryland this Friday night for their next set of television tapings and then a live event on Saturday night in Richmond, Virginia.

**Here is the current lineup for the WWE ‘Over the Limit’ event this Sunday in Raleigh, North Carolina:
*John Cena Vs John Laurinaitis
*CM Punk Vs Daniel Bryan for the World Title
*Sheamus Vs Randy Orton Vs Chris Jericho Vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Title
*Kofi Kingston & R-Truth Vs Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler for the Tag Titles
*Layla Vs Beth Phoenix for the Diva’s Title

**TMZ reports that Linda Bollea and Charlie Hill have broken up.

they just announced raw will be going to three hours starting july 23. if it means more wrestling/longer matches, i like it. but i fear it will be more "entertainment" than wrestling, and we'll see 480 recaps that will make it a chore to watch. edit: and apparently they will also be doing more interactive things (think cyber sunday ppv) where fans influence matches and such. boy, if i wasn't sick of the twitter crap already...

also announced today is that impact will be going live starting at the end of may and will be that way for the summer at least. i don't usually watch tna, so this news isn't anything of value to me, but i'd think it could help their ratings if they could sustain interest in their storylines.
