Rhino also no-showed for the PPV but his injuries seem legit. After all, they didn't send Joe out to buy him on the mic. But after watching Impact on thurs, you could def. tell something was up when he no-selled a move against Rellik and bailed outside holding his arm. However word is that he's possibly got a neck injury. Hopefully all is well as Rhino's a hard worker and big with the TNA fans.

Well the shit hit the fan today in TNA:
-Scott Hall's last voice contact with anyone was Sunday morning. As the afternoon went on, and he didn't show up on time and wasn't answering his phone, concern grew he was going to no-show. There was hope even during the show that he'd finally make it to the building. Then he sent a text message or voice mail saying he had food poisoning and couldn't make it.
-Kevin Nash was disappointed and felt let down by Hall no-showing.
-Samoa Joe was asked to go to the ring, cut a promo on Hall to try to take the heat off of the company for a major star no-showing, and then shift to putting over the guys on the roster and finally introduce Eric Young as the replacement. Joe's promo went more than five minutes longer than planned and incorporated a lot more content, especially that aimed at Nash, than was planned.
-When Joe leaned over the top rope and asked someone off camera if they were mad, then shrugged and said, "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care," he was looking at TNA President Dixie Carter. She was legitimately upset with him "going into business for himself" and taking so long. Nash was legitimately upset that Joe turned Hall's no-show into a rant against him. (What's ironic is that Nash is one of the key people who pushed hard for an extended period of time to get TNA management to take interest in signing Joe when he was in ROH; Nash was a big fan of Joe's ROH matches he saw on DVD.)
-After the match, Nash returned to the back right away and waited for Joe. When Joe returned to the back, Nash confronted him and a heated verbal exchange with some shoving ensued. Joe backed down and avoided the situation escalating.
-At an all-talent meeting today, Terry Taylor brought everyone's contract with him. Dixie Carter said that if anyone was upset and unhappy with their job in TNA, they would be willing to void their contract on the spot. Senshi took them up on the offer. (Senshi also happened to be one of the people who grabbed a brief case in the "Feast or Fire" match.)
-Joe was the first wrestler to speak at the meeting. He gave an emotional apology for going overboard the night before and said he hoped his apology would be accepted.
-Booker T and Kurt Angle gave pep-talks about staying positive and keeping things moving in the right direction.

I thought that at first too, given Russo's track record. But this kind of shitstorm afterwards wouldn't have gone on if this was a work and Joe's comments came straight from the heart. Though I thought bringing everyone's contract to the meeting was a bit over the top.

the shoot on hall was not scripted but joe was told to go to the ring to talk him down, but the rest of it is supposed to be a total shoot as joe took advantage of an open mic on live tv and went into all thats wrong with TNA
ive been looking for this video since ive been home, but cant find it, anyone else come across it?

Everyone in the biz agrees that TNA's tryin too hard to be like the 'Fed, hence bringing in all these former WWE guys. THey need to just go with the roster they had just after getting on Spike, plus Christian of course. And they've gotta revive the X Division, their matches could main event any PPV. It's what set TNA apart.

its not bad to have the old wwe guys, but it is bad to constantly put them over the long time talent, and i think angle would be a team player and put guys over, but he doesnt get to, i mean he was pinned clean by lethal, so i think he is good he just shouldnt be made the top guy. joe is so over due for the title and i think it would be really good for the company to give it to him now

Fer real. He may have apologized at the talent meeting today but for those who don't follow so close, he's the fuckin MAN right now. A program between him and Angle would be good aside from the fact that they've already had one shortly after Angle turned heel. Maybe if Angle drops it to Christian, then Cage and Joe can go at it. But it looks like Steiner's gonna get the briefcase with the title shot, so I don't know what the fuck is going to happen.

Anyone else get that TNA reference on RAW last night?
so i get a message from a friend on the east coast last night tellin me to tune into RAW at a certain time for somethin funny. He had to tell me cause i stopped watchin the 'Fed's product once I discovered WCW in the late 90's. Anywho, i turn over to the channel and there's Kennedy doin a schtick where he brings in imposters dressed up as people that Michaels has wrestled before. At least that's what I gathered. There was a Marty Janetty guy in the ring already, then Kennedy said "Razor Ramon!!!" And my jaw dropped, no way this guy was going to show up the next night on RAW!!!! The music hits and another imposter comes out. Not really funny per se, but they almost had me. The funny bit is when the fake Razor did all his lil moves and then stood to the side, Kennedy looked over and said: "Thanks for showin up"
I may be a TNA mark, but that was pretty fuckin funny.

I think they higher ups need to watch the TNA Year 1 DVD and remember why they got this far, it wasn't that they tried to imitate the 'Fed it is because they were trying to do things differently to the 'Fed.

Yeah my jaw dropped, I was like holy shit, a wrestler acknowledging the happenings of a competing company.
That's awesome.
It happened earlier this year when BG James and Kip were going after HHH and Michaels on Impact. BG said he was the greatest in-ring entertainer ever and Micheals alluded to it on RAW the next week but most people didn't even notice. It was pretty subtle.
