**Stacy Keibler will appear on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine.

**Apparently TNA X-Division star Anthony Nese and TNA have agreed to part ways.

**RadarOnline is reporting that former WWE and TNA star Joanie Lauer, aka Chyna, was rushed to the hospital friday afternoon after she was found unconscious backstage at the 2012 Exxxotica Expo in Miami, Florida.

**TNA has recently signed Austin Aries and Gunner to new contracts.

**Thursday night’s edition of ‘Impact Wrestling’ did a 1.08 rating and averaged 1,480,000 viewers.

**Ashley Fliehr (the daughter of Ric Flair) has signed a developmental deal with the WWE and will be reporting to Florida Championship Wrestling. This has led to speculation regarding Ric as he missed all of the house shows and pay-per-view last weekend along with the two television tapings this past week as well.

**Dixie Carter announced via Twitter that Brooke Hogan will be the new Executive in Charge of the Knockout division. It is expected that she will debut in the on-screen role when Impact goes live at the end of May.

**Jim Ross will announce for WWE NXT going forward.

**Traci Brooks and TNA are apparently going their separate ways.

**Ring of Honor has announced that they will be airing the full Davey Richards Vs Kevin Steen match from ‘Border Wars’ on next weekend’s television show. The HBO model they have adopted where you get to see the big matches for free on a week or two delay is certainly worth an experiment and is unlikely to hurt the live iPPV business.

**Following the television tapings this past weekend Kevin Steen Vs Davey Richards in a rematch for the ROH Title will headline the June 24th ‘Best in the World’ iPPV from Manhattan, New York with the stipulation that Richards only gets one rematch for the title.

**The ‘Raw’ tapings are in Richmond, Virginia tomorrow night and then ‘Smackdown’ tapings take place Tuesday night in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The Tuesday night tapings have been adjusted with ‘NXT’ now taping every three-weeks at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida with a push for a college campus audience attending the shows and will feature more WWE talent on the show with Jim Ross and William Regal calling the shows.

**It was on this date last year that Randy Savage passed away in a car accident after having a heart attack while driving with his wife, who survived the crash.

**Julie Hart, the ex-wife of Bret Hart, has a book coming out.

**Another book coming out this fall is by Rick Bassman, who trained John Cena.

**Lilian Garcia reportedly got heat after Sunday night's pay-per-view for the number of errors she made.

**Chris Jericho spoke with the U.K. Sun regarding his return in January and fans looking way to deeply into the vignettes upon his return as well as Vince McMahon coming up with the silent idea for Jericho’s return.

**The next WWE pay-per-view is the ‘No Way Out’ show on June 17th from East Rutherford, New Jersey at the iZod Center (the same location as the recent UFC on FOX 3 card) and will feature Steel Cage Matches as the theme for either the main event or multiple matches on the show.

**There is a brief interview with Stephanie McMahon-Levesque from the recent USA Network upfronts discussing the move of ‘Raw’ to three-hours. McMahon is calling it the first ever ‘regularly scheduled three-hour program on television’ but I swear I remember another wrestling show being that length from 1998-2000.

**Sin Cara was back on the road this past weekend following his knee injury he suffered at the ‘Survivor Series’ last November.

**In an interesting trivia note the WWE has had a different name for the June pay-per-view every year dating back to 2008.

**Lance Storm has been announced for the ROH television tapings on June 29th in Baltimore, Maryland.

**Kelly Kelly is part of Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 at number 38. Layla El will be listed at number 95.

**Alex Shelley will leave TNA when his contact ends in the coming weeks.

**WWE Smackdown Friday earned a 1.8 cable rating with 2.8 million viewers.

**WWE ‘Raw’ did a 3.04 rating on Monday night and averaged 4,460,000 viewers.

**Alex Shelley is done with TNA as his contract was up and he opted not to re-sign. The use of Shelley over the past year was bizarre as Chris Sabin injured his knee and rather than use Shelley on television they kept him off that entire time with the exception of a week or two. They aired a few video packages plugging the return of the Motor City Machine Guns and they came back, lost at ‘Lockdown’ and then disappeared after the first Open Fight Night where they were denied a Tag Title Match by Hogan.

**The WWE ‘Revolution’ videos they have been airing on their website that no one is talking about is set to feature the reveal next Monday on ‘Raw’. The latest video features a quick image of Matt Morgan. Morgan has stated earlier this year that his contract wasn’t up with TNA until the fall but in that same interview didn’t rule out a return to the WWE. Unless I’ve missed it in passing I don’t believe any of these videos have been on television and little to no buzz online for them either.

**John Cena Vs Big Show was announced on ‘Raw’ for the June 17th ‘No Way Out’ pay-per-view in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Based on television last night it looks like Randy Orton Vs Chris Jericho, CM Punk Vs Daniel Bryan and perhaps Sheamus Vs Alberto Del Rio will be the directions they go for that show.

**There's a YouShoot interview with Vince Russo available as an iPPV next Friday from Kayfabe Commentaries.

**The WWE has announced that the ‘Raw’ house show scheduled for Sao Paulo, Brazil tonight has been moved to tomorrow night due to travel issues. The crew will then have two shows in Ecuador over the weekend before returning the U.S. for ‘Raw’ on Monday night.

**The film, GI Joe: Retaliation, starring The Rock, has seen its release pushed back until March 2013. It was orignally scheduled for later this summer.

**In a Twitter post, Randy Orton said that his punt to the head move has been banned by the company as a part of its efforts to be more aware of concussions.

**PWinsider.com reported on Tuesday that the WWE ‘Revolution’ videos are designed to announced the release of their next video game rather than introduce a new talent.

**The former Extreme Reunion group (now being billed as Extreme Rising) are planning shows on June 29th in New York and June 30th in Philadelphia. The New York show will be headlined by Jerry Lynn Vs Matt Hardy and will feature other former ECW alumni that didn’t cause problems on the recent show last month. The Saturday night show in Philadelphia will feature Jerry Lynn Vs Homicide in the main event.

**The big story coming out the WWE is the suspension of Chris Jericho following this weeks' house show in Sao Paulo, Brazil during his match with CM Punk. Prior to the match Jericho mocked the Brazilian people by stomping on the Brazilian flag, which is a criminal offense within the company. Jericho was reprimanded by local authorities and given the choice of apologizing on the scene or being arrested and he opted to apologize and was then rushed out of the building and sent home. The LAW spoke to officials in the WWE this morning and were sent the following statement from the company:

Chris Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE live event in São Paulo on May 24. WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident.

**A statement was also released from Chris Jericho where he stated:

I made a bad judgment call in the course of entertaining fans in Brazil.

I apologized to the people in the crowd for showing disrespect.

It was a bad move. I did it with fans' entertainment in mind and I'll accept the consequences for that.

Jericho is now back home in the U.S. He was sent to Ecuador but with the suspension the WWE has imposed there was no point in him travelling to the shows all weekend and not performing. The way the WWE worded the suspension as being ‘indefinite’ leaves a wide margin and up to the WWE’s discretion as to when they will bring him back and could work all of this into a storyline on television (it would be great if they had a Brazilian babyface on the roster – maybe one of the Nogueira brothers can come in for some select dates). It appeared on television the direction was for Jericho to face Randy Orton at the ‘No Way Out’ event on June 17th but that is probably up in the air. In my opinion taking him off of what was one of the more profitable house show tours of the year should be punishment enough and don’t see any reason to keep him on television for a prolonged period of time especially when it’s the WWE governing themselves in this instance and not appealing to the U.S. Marines as they did in the Fit Finlay scenario.

A number of people have brought up the infamous Shawn Michaels example of desecrating the Canadian flag in 1997 during the lead-up to the ‘Survivor Series’ and dry humping the flag on Canadian soil at that event. The difference is in the laws in Canada as compared to Brazil where it’s a misdemeanour offense in Brazil.

Another interesting example is that one of the ideas Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara had in WCW in late 1999 was to have The Revolution group (Shane Douglas, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn) burn an American flag on either a pay-per-view or ‘Monday Nitro’ and the Turner executives would not allow them to go through with the angle.

**The number for WWE ‘Extreme Rules’ came out this past week with the show doing a total of 251,000 buys worldwide with 147,000 of those buys coming from North America. The number of buys is up from last year’s of 209,000 buys, which has to be attributed to the addition of Brock Lesnar as the bump in domestic numbers as international remained flat year over year.

**TNA has launched a lawsuit against the WWE and a former employee for interference with existing contracts, breach of duty of loyalty, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, unfair competition and conversion. TNA is alleging that former TNA employee Brian Wittenstein, who left TNA for the WWE last year provided his new employer with confidential information he took from his previous job in TNA. The WWE actually contacted TNA weeks ago when they learned of what Wittenstein had done and fired him but TNA is stating that the WWE didn’t alert them until three-weeks afterwards and that damage was done. TNA also is citing in the lawsuit that Ric Flair asked out of his contract on May 7th and are claiming the timing to be ‘suspect’.

**TNA has officially announced Christopher Daniels & Kazarian Vs Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles for the Tag Titles at ‘Slammiversary’ on June 10th in Arlington, Texas.

**Former TNA wrestler Nosawa (Kazushige Nosawa) and his girlfriend Masami Odate were arrested on Wednesday at Narita Airport in Tokyo after they were found with 75 grams of marijuana hidden inside of a portrait they were bringing back to Japan from a recent trip to Mexico.

**The Rock’s big blockbuster movie ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ has been pushed back from a summer release to March 29th 2013 and will be coming out a week prior to WrestleMania 29 and will see The Rock doing media everywhere during ‘Mania season. The Rock is playing the role of Road Block in the movie.

**Ring of Honor is taking another stab live streaming with a match taped at the recent set of television tapings exclusively for the website. The match is a four corners match involving Mike Bennett, Adam Cole, Jay Lethal and Roderick Strong.

**Randy Orton recently noted on Twitter that his punt kick has been banned in the WWE due to concussion issues.

**The WWE has added Lex Luger to the Alumni section of their website.

**Sheamus Vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Title is official for ‘No Way Out’ on June 17th following ‘Smackdown’ last night.

**The WWE has signed independent wrestler Steve Evans out of Wales to a developmental contract.

**Tonight is the first live edition of ‘Impact Wrestling’ for their 12-13 week experiment on Spike TV (it has not been confirmed how many weeks they will be live for). The following has been announced for the show tonight:
*Bobby Roode Vs Sting in a Lumberjack Match – this will kick off the show right at 8pm EST to drive people to the new start time
*Devon Vs ??? for the Television Title (the poll options are for Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson or Robbie E)
*The debut of Brooke Hogan
*A major announcement from Dixie Carter
*Pre-taped segment with James Storm

**For those that have been fans of the recent ‘Gut Check’ and ‘Open Fight Night’ segments on Impact Wrestling there is more to come. TNA sent out a press release Wednesday promoting the next evolution of professional wrestling coming to Impact starting tomorrow night. TNA President Dixie Carter was quoted in the release stating:

People watch TV differently today than before, and the wrestling format itself has become stale. What happens backstage, in the office and on the road is so entertaining that we decided it was time to pull the curtain way back and give viewers a peek at that world as well. Over the next few weeks and months, viewers will continue to see our show evolve as we expose more real aspects of our business that have always been sacred

**TNA President Dixie Carter hosted a two-hour conference call with the media on Wednesday to promote the time slot change and going live tonight. During the call Carter noted to us that Spike approached TNA last fall to move ‘Impact’ to three-hours and they declined. Carter also said they are re-negotiating current pay-per-view contracts and that she is not a fan of twelve pay-per-view events a year and would like to decrease that number. Carter seems to be the only promoter that will (at least publicly) acknowledge a saturation point and used the term ‘quality over quantity’ when discussing the decision to forego the increase to a third hour. She did say they are looking at additional programming opportunities. When asked about ratings expectations she said they have not discussed a specific target for this summer experiment but is realistic that going live is not going to send the numbers through the roof right away but as we have seen with TUF Live it doesn’t always bear fruit and in the case of TUF Live the last two-weeks have seen the lowest numbers the show has ever produced with the live format. It was also noteworthy that Carter stated the creative team now has a show bible and six-month storyline arc and admitted to poor follow up in the past and cited two storylines with Samoa Joe being kidnapped and an angle with Jackie Gayda from 2005 involving photos that few people can even remember.

**The WWE ‘Raw’ rating tanked on Monday night doing a 2.7 rating and averaging 3,910,000 viewers for the Memorial Day show. The holiday is not a valid excuse as the number has done fine on Memorial Day, which always falls on a Monday. There was a lot of competition on cable that night between the NBA playoffs, ‘Hatfields and McCoys’ and ‘Pawn Stars’ and the show also did not feature John Cena, who is consistently the shows top draw.

**Randy Orton’s sixty-day suspension from the WWE for a Wellness Policy violation will leave him touch and go for ‘SummerSlam’ on August 19th but with it being such a major show I would be very surprised if a quick angle isn’t shot before the show to get him on there. I have had people ask me what his suspension total is following this latest one and he has technically been suspended three times but only two have been for the Wellness Policy and therefore not grounds for termination. Orton was suspended in April 2006 coming off of WrestleMania 22 and that for two-months due to behaviour issues and not for a drug violation. He was suspended again later that year for a Wellness violation and missed thirty-days. In the summer of 2007 when the Signature Pharmacy scandal occurred, Orton was linked to that list but not included on the District Attorney’s list that the WWE received and he escaped punishment (and actually headlined the September 2007 pay-per-view while the other names were serving their suspensions). I don’t expect Orton to be booked any differently when he returns as there is a precedent for a main event talent coming back after two suspensions and that was Jeff Hardy, who was suspended in July 2007 and March 2008 (and missed two of the biggest pay days of the year by missing ‘SummerSlam’ and ‘WrestleMania 24’) and was still booked strong when he came back and in fact stronger than ever because he had the two strikes when he won the World Title in late 2008 and had subsequent runs with the title in 2009.

**PWinsider.com was the first to report that Tom Pritchard has been let go by the WWE. Pritchard was one of the instrumental people in the creation of developmental back in the late 90’s and was released and then brought back in 2007 when they launched Florida Championship Wrestling. It is expected that Bill DeMott will be replacing Pritchard’s role, which is noteworthy because Pritchard was re-hired back in 2007 to fill the spot of DeMott, who had been let go.

**Davey Richards spoke with ‘Inside Wrestling’ and said he will be retiring in 2013 and said that something terrible would have to happen in his life to still be wrestling in 2014. Richards was set on retiring in 2010 at the request of his then girlfriend but then the two broke up and Richards announced he would not be retiring.

**Kurt Angle recently stated on Twitter that he plans to retire by the time he turns 46. Angle is currently 43-years old and his birthday is in December.

**Here is the updated card for the June 24th ROH ‘Best in the World’ card at the Manhattan Center in New York City:
*Kevin Steen Vs Davey Richards for the ROH Title
*Roderick Strong Vs Jay Lethal Vs Tommaso Ciampa in an Elimination Match for the Television Title
*Fit Finlay Vs Michael Elgin
*Homicide Vs Eddie Edwards
*Kyle O’Reilly Vs Adam Cole in a ‘Hybrid Fighting Rules Challenge’ (can end with a KO, Submission, TKO, DQ by three fouls committed or 15:00 time limit)

**The WWE has hired Patrick Talty as their new Senior Vice President of Live Events and will report to Paul Levesque.

**Alex Shelley’s profile has been removed from the Impact Wrestling website.

**Ring of Honor and Filsinger Games have announced a partnership for a new trading card game that is set for release in November.

**WWNLive.com will be hosting the YouShoot Live special this Friday night with guest Vince Russo. If you have never seen a YouShoot special it’s a Q&A with host Sean Oliver where he takes questions from the audience as well as video questions sent in ahead and time and online questions that have been submitted. The price tag for the iPPV is $14.99 and will be an interesting experiment because if it draws a strong amount of people than it will be a unique way for the right personalities to do these styles of interviews and a new presentation for shoot interviews. They certainly have the right person in Russo, who will draw a lot of interest but the drawback is that it’s airing on a Friday night and a replay will not be posted on the site as YouShoot will be releasing it on a DVD in the future.

**The WWE is releasing a new CM Punk shirt with the tag line ‘I Dig Crazy Chicks’

**Jim Ross mentioned in his blog that Steve Austin will be filming scenes in July for ‘Grown Ups 2’ starring Chris Rock and Adam Sandler.

**It is rumored that Don West has left or will be leaving TNA soon. He is reported that he has already told them he is wanting to leave the company to pursue other interests.

**The July 23 edition of WWE RAW is the 1000th episode. The WWE is planning on old stars returning, as well as a Triple H and Shawn Michael Degeneration X reunion.

**TNA Impact on Thursday earned a 0.90 cable rating with 1.3 million viewers.

**TMZ is reporting that John Cena's recent marriage troubles stemmed from the remodeling of the couples home and arguments with the construction.

**Tonight ‘Raw’ is live from Greenville, South Carolina with the WWE advertising John Cena’s return and response to Big Show after his absence last week and a big drop in the rating.

**TNA has announced a six-man tag for the main event of Impact this Thursday with Bobby Roode & Christopher Daniels & Kazarian Vs Sting & Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles.

**The ‘Smackdown’ television tapings are in Columbia, South Carolina on Tuesday night.

**TNA and Spike TV sent Bobby Roode and Brooke Hogan to the MTV Video Awards on Sunday night.

**Matt Striker was on the road this past weekend for the ‘Smackdown’ crew replacing Lilian Garcia, who was at home with her family.

**George ‘The Animal’ Steele throws out the first pitch at the Rochester Wings baseball game:

**The Super Luchas Magazine website out of Mexico is reporting that Randy Orton tested positive for the steroid Dianabol to lead to his current sixty-day suspension. The report on their website claims he first tested positive for marijuana and was fined $2,500 and led to further testing, which revealed the steroid in his system.

**TNA ‘Impact’ did a 0.89 rating on Thursday night and an audience of 1,290,000 viewers for their first live show of the summer in the new timeslot. It is down by a noticeable amount but this had to be expected given the new timeslot and would expect the audience numbers are going to be back to normal within a few weeks. The key to this summer is establishing the new slot and expecting any giant gains would be premature at this point.

**The Daily Mirror out of the U.K. has an in-depth story with Bobby Roode discussing TNA’s U.K. tour coming up next January, his thoughts on the status of Ric Flair with the company, Scott Steiner’s rants on Twitter and the Chris Jericho suspension for his actions in Brazil last week.

**Shawn Michaels is being advertised for the 1,000th episode of ‘Raw’ on July 23rd in St. Louis, Missouri and billing it as another DX reunion with Triple H.

**Colt Cabana has been added to the June 28th and 29th EVOLVE shows in Ybor City and St. Petersburg, Florida.

**The Gut Check segment was a fascinating segment to watch on Thursday night involving Joey Ryan and the judges. These segments come across very loosely put together and for the performer little if anything is told to them ahead of time. Ryan came onto the show playing his usual character and being that it’s on a wrestling show you would figure as such but instead was blasted for doing so and almost given a ‘shoot critique’ of a kayfabe character. It was very strange and a strange gray area of what TNA wants out of these gut check performers for future editions. Joey Ryan posted the following on Twitter following the show last night:

What a joke. @IMPACTWRESTLING is pathetic. I'm not good enough for your company? C'mon @TNADixie really? You make me laugh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Don't bring me in just for your NO agenda. It's not my fault that Flair went into business for himself so why am I being punished?! Pritchard, @TheRealAlSnow & @OfficialTaz know that a NO is ridiculous. They know I'm money. I dare Tazz to say something to my face now. Somebody tell Johnny Ace he can reach me at joeyryan@hotmail.com - I know he's not stupid enough to turn down money.

**Paul Heyman went on Twitter Thursday providing his advice to the next generation of talent in the business:

The next generation in this (or any other business) doesn't just need to "Step Up," they need to "Stand Up" and "Get Noticed!" Think it was easy for @CMpunk? Think it was easy for@WWEDanielBryan? They had to scratch and claw and fight for inch of turf they could pry away from the previous generation, who made them fuckin' earn it!!! It's not about backstabbing. It's not about kissing ass. It's not about pulling a hot stunt and getting momentary publicity. It's about creating your own opportunity (like @SteveAustinBSR did with "Stone Cold") and working harder than every1 else looking for the big break, the next chance, the golden opportunity. This isn't a pep talk. It's the lay of the land as I see it in today's sports entertainment industry. And while this may be a "stream of consciousness" diatribe, it's a message to those who may be getting frustrated ... a message to those who may be wondering "will I ever get that chance? that break? that opportunity?" DON'T WAIT FOR IT TO COME TO YOU! RELY ON YOURSELF!!! With great humility, I ask you, did I? FUCK NO. If there was no opportunity, I created my own, pushed my way in manipulated the circumstances to beg, borrow, plead, blackmail, bribe, cajole, threaten, bullshit and/or manufacture All I wanted was a mic in my hand and a time frame in which I had to deliver my message. I knew I would score. While a dose of humility is always needed, that "main event confidence" is just as important. And it's time for the next group of superstars to stake their claim and create their own generation for others to follow.

**The WWE and TNA will meet in court on Monday for an overview hearing to go over various issues regarding the lawsuit filed by TNA over confidential information allegedly being brought to the WWE by former employee Brian Wittenstein. Representatives from the two sides will be meeting court Monday in Nashville, Tennessee.

**Here is the updated card for TNA ‘Slammiversary’ on June 10th in Arlington, Texas:
*Bobby Roode Vs Sting for the TNA Title
*Christopher Daniels & Kazarian Vs A.J. Styles & Kurt Angle for the Tag Titles
*Devon & Garret Bischoff Vs Robbie E & T
*Bully Ray Vs Joseph Park

**CM Punk sent a warning to Steve Austin on Twitter:

My last three Wrestlemania opponents are currently suspended. I'm a curse!

**Kelly Kelly is apparently taking some time off from WWE, and may be considering stopping wrestling altogether.

**SilverVision, distributor of WWE DVDs in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia, has resumed distrubution of WWE titles after halting sales a month ago.

**Here is the current line up for this Sunday’s TNA ‘Slammiversary’ card in Arlington, Texas:
*Bobby Roode Vs Sting for the TNA Title
*Christopher Daniels & Kazarian Vs Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles for the Tag Titles
*Austin Aries Vs Samoa Joe
*Devon & Garret Bischoff Vs Robbie E & T
*Joseph Park Vs Bully Ray
*Gail Kim Vs TBA for the Knockout’s Title (challenger to be determined on Impact this week)

**The WWE is promoting Triple H returning at the ‘No Way Out’ pay-per-view on June 17th in East Rutherford, New Jersey to discuss the Brock Lesnar situation.

**The WWE is planning to build the August 6th edition of ‘Raw’ around Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night in San Antonio as a hook for one of the first three-hour editions of the show. Michaels has also been announced for the July 23rd 1,000th episode of ‘Raw’ in St. Louis.

**Christian is scheduled to appear at TNA's Slammiversary PPV Sunday. Dixie Carter posted the announcement on her Facebook page: "On a plane headed to Dallas for the big PPV this weekend. Very excited Christian Cage is joining us for the night. He's one of my favorites." Likely, it was part of the agreement between WWE and TNA to have Ric Flair appear at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony back in April.

**Steve Austin's new show on CMT debuts tonight at 10 p.m. It is called "Redneck Island." He is the host of the reality show where rednecks compete on a tropical island.

**WWE has purchased the Mid-South and UWF tape archives from the exwife of Bill Watts. This is a collection that the WWE had been going after since around 2003, but the price was always too high.

**There are rumors that R-Truth may have a broken foot.

**Alberto Del Rio suffered a concussion at this past Tuesday's WWE Smackdown taping.

**Dave Meltzer of the ‘Wrestling Observer Newsletter’ reports that effective June 23rd CM Punk will be working the ‘Smackdown’ brand house shows to compensate for Randy Orton being off the road due to his sixty-day suspension. It is unknown how long Punk will be working the ‘Smackdown’ events. The ‘Raw’ crew is going to be anchored by John Cena and Big Show with Triple H and John Laurinaitis working more house show dates for ‘Raw’ while ‘Smackdown’ will feature CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio as the top talent.

**There are no TNA events before ‘Slammiversary’ on Sunday night in Arlington, Texas.

**TNA has signed a big international television deal with the All Sports Network for penetration into Southeast Asia. The deal will allow Impact and their pay-per-view events to air in Hong Kong, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan, The Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia.

**Chris Masters worked a dark match prior to ‘Impact’ on Thursday night losing to Robbie E.

**Lance Storm spoke to Bryan Alvarez on F4Wonline.com and stated the original idea was for Storm to face Mike Bennett at the ‘Best in the World’ event on June 24th but Storm couldn’t make the date because he is working for the PWA on June 23rd against Chavo Guerrero and couldn’t make it to New York in time for the show on the Sunday. Storm and Bennett will now have their third match on June 29th in Baltimore at the television tapings.

**Current Ring of Honor talent Matt Taven and Jimmy Jacobs were at the FCW tapings on Thursday night but only Taven was used on the show that was taped.

**The WWE has posted a Vince Russo tribute on their website as I’m assuming someone on the web staff watched YouShoot Live last week.

**The ‘Raw’ rating from Monday night’s three-hour show was a success with the return of Vince McMahon yielding a 3.2 rating over the course of the three-hours and averaged 4,620,000 viewers over the course of the entire show. If you factor out the first hour the show would have done a 3.46 rating and 4,980,000 viewers. The number is up from last week’s 2.92 rating and the prior week’s 2.7. The first hour on Monday averaged 3,900,000 viewers and grew steadily with 4,880,000 in the second hour and 5,080,000 in the third hour. The show did have a self contained story based around whether John Laurinaitis will be fired or not but the pay off sending you to the pay-per-view (whether they did a good enough job to draw people to pay for that stipulation, which they are just coming off of from ‘Over the Limit’ is another question) and this provides evidence that a show long story arc will grow the audience if it’s something they are invested in and in this instance they were. I’m all for three-hour shows on a quarterly basis with a theme or reason but the big test will be not what ‘Raw’ can draw on July 23rd because that show will have a huge amount of promotion behind it and lots of stars from the past brought back but the test will come in September when you have the NFL back and we are two-months into the three-hour experiment and if the audience gets burned out by so much WWE product on one night and won’t be able to hotshot a return of someone like Vince McMahon every week.

**TNA has announced on their website that they will be holding another Bound for Glory Series tournament this year with the 12 participants to be confirmed on Thursday night’s edition of Impact with a Gauntlet Match and theoretically set up the seeds of #1-12. The actual matches will have point breakdowns with a submission win worth 10 points, pinfall is 7 points, countout win is 5 points, DQ win is 3 points, a draw is 2 points and a DQ loss is minus 10 points. Each wrestler will face one another once over the course of the tournament so that means each will have a total of eleven matches (unlike last year where a big complaint was certain guys didn’t have the same amount of matches and was extremely confusing to follow). The final night of the round robin matches will be the September 6th edition of ‘Impact’ and then there will be a one night playoff at the September 9th ‘No Surrender’ pay-per-view and the winner of the tournament receives the TNA Title shot at ‘Bound for Glory’ in October.

**Here is the current card for this Sunday’s WWE ‘No Way Out’ event in East Rutherford, New Jersey:
*John Cena Vs Big Show in a Steel Cage Match (If Cena loses he is fired, if Show loses than John Laurinaitis is fired)
*CM Punk Vs Daniel Bryan Vs Kane for the WWE Title
*Sheamus Vs Dolph Ziggler for the World Title
*Christian Vs Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Title
*David Otunga Vs Brodus Clay in the YouTube pre-show match

**The next TNA pay-per-view is ‘Destination X’ on July 8th in Orlando, Florida and they are teasing Austin Aries headlining the show based on his promo last Sunday night. That show is coming the night after UFC 148 featuring Anderson Silva Vs Chael Sonnen (barring another catastrophic injury) and is expected to be one of the most purchased UFC shows of the year (and could be their biggest show).

**The fake Abyss last Sunday night was played by one of Team 3-D’s students from their wrestling school.

**The WWE is among a select few worldwide companies that Twitter is allowing to test out a new initiative where companies can imbed video and audio into their follower’s timelines and expand past the 140 character limit. The announcement was made on Twitter’s own blog.

**Just to keep track with the announcement that John Cena’s job is once again on the line this weekend at the pay-per-view, here is a brief summary of that stipulation involving Cena:
*Survivor Series 2010 – John Cena was the referee for Randy Orton Vs Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Orton won than Cena is fired. Orton won and Cena gave a retirement speech the next night on ‘Raw’ and returned...in the final segment later that night
*Money in the Bank 2011 – It was set up on television that if Cena lost to CM Punk he would be fired by Vince McMahon. Punk won and instead Vince McMahon was replaced as C.O.O. the next night on Raw by Triple H and Cena kept his job.
*Extreme Rules 2012 – Following Cena’s win over Brock Lesnar he told the crowd he was going away for awhile, which was true if you consider ‘a while’ in relation to the number of hours he was gone from a WWE show, which was approximately 21-hours until ‘Raw’ the next night

**Here are some crazy stats to throw out – CM Punk has held the WWE Title for 206-days and is the longest reigning WWE Champion since Triple H in 2008 (210 days). Only five people have held the WWE Title for longer than 200-days dating back to when Shawn Michaels won the title in March 1996 at WrestleMania 12 and those five are Punk, Triple H, Randy Orton, John Cena and JBL. For a comparison since the WWE brought in the World Title in September 2002 only two people have held that title longer than 200-days and that would be Triple H and Batista.

**CM Punk, Lita and Torrie Wilson were spotted at the New York Yankees Vs Atlanta Braves game on Wednesday.

**John Cena will be at the August 9th Wizard World convention in Chicago on behalf of the WWE.

**The WWE has announced that their August 11th live event in Biloxi, Mississippi and August 12th in Texarkana, Arkansas will be supershows with both rosters.

**TNA has added house shows for August 17th in Spencer, Iowa and August 18th in Ottumwa, Iowa.

**ABC lists Hulk Hogan as the worst celebrity Dad.

**The WWE has added a Tuxedo Match to ‘No Way Out’ this Sunday between Santino Marella and Ricardo Rodriguez.

**WWNLive.com will be hosting a live edition of $5 Wrestling on July 27th from Henderson, Indiana hosted by Colt Cabana and Marty DeRosa.

**In an update coming out of ‘Impact’ thurs night Dixie Carter has posted that Chris Sabin has torn his ACL in his right knee and thus will require surgery and an estimated 6-9 months on the sidelines. Sabin injured his other knee a year ago where he tore the MCL and ACL in his left knee and was out of action from June 2011 until returning this past April so this is terrible news for Sabin and hope he has as speedy a recovery as possible.

**Following Impact Mr. Anderson will be the 12th and final member of the BFG Series joining A.J. Styles, Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, Bully Ray, Kurt Angle, Robbie E, Magnus, Samoa Joe, James Storm, The Pope and Christopher Daniels.

**Kevin Nash has a cameo role in ‘Rock of Ages’ starring Tom Cruise and also has a role in ‘Magic Mike’ that comes out in two-weeks, starring Channing Tatum.

**Next week’s edition of ‘Impact’ will feature Open Fight Night, the Gut Check Challenger and Miss Tessmacher defending the Knockout’s Title against one of the women.

**Perry Saturn has been added to the Extreme Rising event on June 30th in Philadelphia. The company is running a show the night prior as well in New York featuring Matt Hardy Vs Jerry Lynn.
