dark days for Rams fans this year, but good for Torry Holt. hes one of the greats. played all year with that bum knee and still put up the same consistent #s he always does.

though greg ellis certainly deserves it this year. if he cant make it off the numbers he put up this year then he'll more than likely never have a shot.

There are a lot of snubs who come to mind. Fred Taylor, Nick Barnett and Darnell Dockett, who had double the stats of Kevin Williams.

This should be the last year for Ogden (it's a joke he's there anyway) and next year begins the perennial run of selections for Joe Thomas.

Lance Briggs had a pretty solid year, but Ernie Simms from Detroit was definitely more deserving of the spot.

Other than that, I really didn't give a crap about the most meaningless "all-star" game in professional sports.

Fred Taylor should be in.

and Mario Williams should easily be in.

Popularity contest anyway and nobody watches it.

I disagree about Briggs. He missed alot of tackles this year and was a non-factor in many games this year. Tillman had more impact games than he did (and he shouldn't be in either).

I hate that they announce this with 3 games left in the season. It totally ignores the monster game Urlacher had Monday nite (not that he should be in either). But if he was, say, sitting on the fence of whether he should be in or not, it's a big deal to miss a game like that in your evaluation.

I can't believe John Lynch didn't make it again, I was starting to think that he would keep going for decades after he retired.

Matt Light doesn't belong. Fred Taylor should go over Addai, anybody can be a good rusher for the Colts. Mario Williams should be in. There should be more than one FS in the AFC. Kerry Rhodes maybe?

Heh. He shouldn't have made it last year.

I'm depressed but not surprised that Champ was the only Bronco to make it.

How Mario Williams didn't make it is beyond me. Maybe folks don't want to admit that the Texans picked the right guy at #1 in '06. As bad as some of these selections are, it's not the travesty that is this year's BCS bowl matchups.

With all due respect to my Boys, Hamlin sucks balls and so does Williams in the current Dallas 'D package; they can hit like mad but can't cover for shit without help. This was a Dallas fan call-in uprising this year, I guess.
