i'm kind of at a loss for what the cowboys will draft in round one. i suppose a right tackle would be good, but i'd like to see them groom a young qb.
Probably a guard. I doubt Parcells is going FS until 2nd or 3rd at the earliest and he probably won't take a QB at all this year. Max Jean-Gilles would be perfect. Guards rarely bust.

So just groom a guard behind Allen for 1-2 years before he retires? Sounds fine to me, I want them to draft LaRon Landry in round 2.

Either Allen or Rivera. Both are in their mid 30's and both are not playing very well. Other than Gurode, the Cowboys don't have anybody on the roster right now that would be good enough to put in behind them either, so a guard is a must.
I don't know what to think about tackle - Pettiti blew ass for most of the year, but Jon Runyan is available and Pettiti was only a rookie with a massive upside. He could go either way. As for center, Saints center LeCharles Bentley is a FA, so he is definitely an option as well.
I would love a QB, but Parcells isn't going to do it, nor does he really need to. Bledsoe had the best year for a Dallas QB since Aikman, and with a line in front of him he'll have an even better year in 06.

Is Henson a lost cause?
I believe so. I know that Parcells preferred Romo way over Henson.
Parcells messed with Henson's delivery, and it has really screwed with his confidence. Henson is done in the NFL.
Hahhaaha fantastic. At least he has his Yankees money to retire on That fucker was paid millions for what he did in HIGH SCHOOL.
He had the talent to do well in the NFL. He had this 3/4's release that has worked for other QB's and worked well for him in college, but Parcells saw fit to try and make it an over-the-top delivery in one off-season and it backfired. They ended up scrapping the over-the-top and went back to the three quarters and it hasn't been the same since.
It also doesn't help that Parcells is a douchebag with rookie/young qb's. Talk to Bledsoe about his early time under Parcells and he will tell you it was a fucking nightmare. He gives Henson no real opportunities, so now he's just a paper weight. It's frustrating to watch. He was really good at Michigan, wasn't he?

He was flat-out scary at Michigan. He only played 9 games(?), but was an absolute freakshow. It was pure electricity each time he touched the ball. Easily the most talented QB to ever play at Michigan. Hell, Tom Brady had to fight for playing time vs. Drew.
Drew played in HS about 20 miles north of where I'm from. I saw him play in HS once and he was fucking phenomenal there, but I guess most guys in the NFL were

I remember being very disappointed when Drew decided to play baseball rather than stay at Michigan to play football.

the only stats i could find on henson;s career were these: Henson completed 61.6% of his passes for 2,146 yards, 18 touchdowns and four interceptions.
