I don't really care who was cocky and who wasn't. I'm very happy the Giant's won, and my Dolphins are still the only perfect team, even if they do in fact suck big time nowadays.
But I'm also very happy because most (or at least a very good chunk) Pat's fans are also Red Sox's fans who talk SO much shit anytime the Yankees (who I'm a fan of) choke, or lose a series, or just do anything bad in general. Now all of a sudden Boston has some awesome sports teams and fans got too cocky, and now they're suffering the same humiliation they attempt to put Yankee's fans through any chance they get. Fuck the Pats. I didn't mind their first 3 rings because they were underdogs or at least equal to the teams they were playing. I didn't even see much from the actual players this year that turned me off to them having a perfect season; but a perfect NFL season following a Red Sox World Series victory is just too much, especially for us here in Connecticut where the "boundries" are located.
