then why do you post?
i mean, besides talking about a fringe "fighting" league and shitty music, why do you even exist on this forum? i've yet to see you produce anything that's meaningful to anyone else except yourself.
you're persona's well intact w/o you ever posting again.
personally i'd wish for you to go "the way of the sunny" but the world is far from perfect.

colvin didn't pass his physical! maybe he's more injured than was let on:

The Patriots reportedly cut OLB Rosey Colvin because he failed a physical. He's recovering from a foot injury, and possibly an arm injury, so failing a physical isn't a huge surprise. It could just be a procedural move. Colvin may hang around on the free agent market for a while until he can show teams he's healthy.

Or a great move by the Pats to scare off teams so they can bring him back at a reduced price. Although I'd rather have Vrabel and Thomas on the outside.

possibly.

tell me who's playing MLB and i'd possibly concur
A lot of people will be cut between now and then so the list out there is pretty thin. Id take Seau back and maybe take a look at Kendrell Bell. Also, if they pick up Gholston in the draft they can have Vrabel or Thomas move inside. Or if they trade down I could see them picking up Conner from PSU if they trade down to the mid twenties.

true, but if bruschi and seau both come back, the pats would most likely need someone besides TJ Slaughter, to rotate in.

They wouldn't take Conner in the first round. they could possibly sign Haggans, Bell or Dan Morgan, but I don't think they'll draft for MLB.

Haggans plays the outside...

Kevin Faulk Passes Drug Test Following his arrest on a misdemeanor marijuana charge last week, Kevin Faulk reportedly passed a drug test and will not be admitted into the league's substance abuse program. Faulk said the marijuana wasn't his and it appears he was being honest. Either that, or he never got a chance to do whatever it was he was planning. Faulk informed the Patriots of the incident and should be clear going forward.
Like I said, Faulk knows how to play the game. his status will not be changing.

so they have 3 out of 5 major contributing LBs from last years team.
put that with the exact same DL (w/ a hopefully much healthier Seymour) and 3 out of 5 major contributors in the secondary.
QB, RB, OL, TE are exactly the same aswell.
not too bad for the NFL's second best team last year.
as for haggans;
all i was sayin is he's somebody to look into.
I would guess they already know whether they have a use for Clark Haggans. My guess in no, as he's never played inside at all. You noted before that Thomas, Vrabel and Colvin had all played inside before but the difference is that they had already seen Thomas do it, and knew what he was capable of, and Vrabel and Colvin only played inside once they got here because it was necessary due to injuries. At some point they need to get an actual middle linebacker so these guys can stop playing out of position. I think the major factor in Colvin being cut was because of the cap hit, but it makes me wonder if they're going to go with Vrabel and Thomas in their normal positions outside for the full season (or at least attempt to) and make a run at some help for Bruschi in free agency or through the draft.

Patriots re-sign WR Washington BOSTON (Ticker) - The New England Patriots signed one wide receiver - just not the one who is No. 1 on their wish list.
Kelley Washington and the Patriots agreed to terms on a new contract Thursday night, according to the Boston Globe.
Financial terms and length of the deal were not disclosed.
With star wideout Randy Moss an unrestricted free agent, the Patriots likely viewed Washington as a fall-back option.
New England signed Washington as an unrestricted free agent in March 2007 to compete for a starting job, but they then traded for Moss and Wes Welker and also signed free agent Donte Stallworth, relegating Washington to special teams duty.
Washington did not have a reception last season. In four previous seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, he had 72 catches for 893 yards and nine touchdowns.
Washington was solid on Special Teams, interesting to see if he can break the WR lineup and how productive he can be if it happens.
