Oh boy, there is so much opportunity for some good shit-talk with this matchup. I don't think this will beat the Boston vs. Philadelphia Shit-talk Thread from three years ago, but hopefully it gets close.

I don't think the Giants have much of a chance. They are one of the weaker SB teams in a while. Not as bad as the 2000 Giants team that made it but pretty bad.

I dunno, they have a great pass rush, plaxico is playing out of his mind right now, and theyre on a roll. I wouldnt completely dimisss them. i cant stomach watching another NE sb win. i hope the giants pull it out

They're hot right now which makes them better than they really are. They have a chance to win(albeit a slim one) mostly because the Pats haven't looked that great the last 2 weeks. The difference is going to be BB getting 2 weeks to prepare for Eli and the Giants defense. I'll probably bet the Giants cause i hate the Pats and they've pissed me off the last 2 games by not covering. As annoying as it is to bet the Pats and root for them, it's even more annoying when I bet on them and they don't cover.

well they almost beat the pats and beat the cowboys and packers so i'm not going to completely write them off, but i can't see the pats giving them another close game.

Where was that pass rush today? Plaxico had a decent game, I didn't find him catching 10 yard passes against horrible coverage particularly great. GB made him look great.

I am sick of NE myself but this Giants team is weak. I'm sorry.

They are weak and running on fumes but I am happy as looking at their schedule to start the season I didn't hold much hope for a playoff berth let alone a super bowl appearance.

One can only hope for a game as close as week 17.

IF Giants win, it will be by a close margin. Somehow though, I see the Pats pulling it out.

It's time for more of the national media's east coast hard-on. I really don't care who wins now but hopefully the Giants will make it entertaining.

Is it possible to will the Patriots to a loss in the Superbowl? I just don't think I can handle all of the "Best Team of All Time" talk that would follow their Superbowl victory...and their fans are going to be so obnoxious...
