Dear Mikes,

first off, i only watch you for a bit in the morning, but i do enjoy the perspective you two have on the topics of the previous day.

now having kissed your ass, i need a favor. i have looked everywhere and can not find it, so i thought maybe you guys would have some pull.

the charlie steiner video where hes showing the "highlight" of carl lewis singing the national anthem.

this is easily top 5 funniest moments on TV, ever. never mind the attempt at actual singing, or jordan trying to hold in a laugh, or even DC covering his mouth with the warm up suit.

the beauty is seeing a full grown man completely losing it before your eyes in what probably is the funniest thing he has ever seen and live TV be damned, hes not going to hold it in, nor can he.

can you help a guy out, greenie, ill buy your book if you can :)

thanks,

Jerry Peoples

please please please let them come through

Proper capitalization would help your cause.

Next time ESPN runs of their "best of" shows, TIVO/tape it. They show it on those shows every time.

Classic bit. That and "ruptured dick" are the greatest ESPN moments ever. Sadly, the "ruptured dick" incident doesn't get replayed - EVER.

Olbeman and Patrick refer to it as "the incident."

mike and mike wouldn't be so bad if in a given 30 minute block they only discussed topics for 10 minutes and the rest of the time is used for sports highlights from the day before and commercials

oh, and "let's see what's on cold pizza today!"

Can't say i'm a big fan of these guys. I listen to a lot of radio cause of my job and these guys never interest me at all. I don't hate or like either one of them...they're just...there. Morning radio in New York totally died when Stern went to satelite.
