And no England! Here's to a summer without proud tarquins bleating on with jingoistic nonsense!

So, who's gonna win? I'm going for an Iberian champion.

Angus

I am actually looking forward to watching the Euros this year, it'll be stress free watching them for a change, plus there won't be the usual media bollocks about how this will be the year for England's "golden generation" then the disappointment when we predictably get knocked out in the quarter finals.

I'm going for Spain or Croatia to win.

Group C is a bitch of a group

i'm not very hopefull this time, we did a shitty qualification and we don't have a top striker and we literily don't have a left defender.

i like to see Czech Republic but they're missing their best two players in my opinion, i will keep an eye in Russia.

who needs a top striker if you have Ronaldo?

+ Quaresma, Nani, Almeida, ...

Portugal got more class than any other team.

Yeah that Group C looks tough as hell. Unfortunately without England to follow and feel not the least bit sorry for when they drop out, I won't watch this.

The tournament is a hell of a lot more watchable when the most boring team in Europe isn't there IMO. England plays some pretty sleepinducing style of football, and has done for the last few years.

so you should be happy if spain once again fail to live up to the expectations and gets knocked out early. i predict sweden & russia to come out of their group.

Group C is like a catholic church. Three priests and one altar boy. Netherlands, prepare yourself for the raping of a lifetime.

Not quite true. Clarence Seedorf was selected, but withdrew because [understatement]he and van Basten don't get on too well[/understatement].

True
Bojan didn't want to go since he's so young and had to play way more than he thought he would all season. Guy would be stone dead for next season if he plays the tournament. And Barça will need him if they let go Henry/Ronaldinho/Eto'o.
