Ray needs to stay put. The thought of him with the Heat really really bothers me. I don't want to hate Ray...

Choice. Heat 2 years 6 million. Celts 2 years 12 million.

No way Allen leaves for the Heat if the Celtics are really offering him $12 million. It was a nice pipe dream, though.

If the Celtics offer him 12 million, they are on crack.

That team needs to get younger.

they've got a good mix of young and old if they get a healthy Green to go w/ Rondo & Bradley while Fab Melo becomes the next Bill Russell.

Spoiler: show

Would they really try and spend all this money on Ray Allen and Jason Terry?

They can afford both, as Allen has Bird rights. I dunno, they need to get younger, but at the same time, I wouldn't mind a proven winner in Terry (was he playing for Dallas when they won the title?).

Yeah. Just seems like a lot of money for two guys who play the same exact role.

No doubt. I am happy to see the C's being active. Looks like they want to really give this aging group another legit shot, and why not? With injuries and everything else, you never know what can happen.

Terry will fit in pretty perfect. Game wise and personality wise. I think this means Ray is not coming back. I hope he chooses the Clippers.

I wonder if they can keep Pietrus on the cheap. The Bass signing is great. Curious what kind of deal Green gets his health is a tricky situation.

Green to get 9 mil, at least that's what I heard on the radio.

If Ray chooses Miami over Boston, that means two things:

1. He really dislikes Rondo and can't get past it

2. He really dislikes giving up his spot to Bradley

It's as simple as that.

I heard 4 years 40 million for Green. Seems risky unless the are some protections in there for his heart. There must be.

Oh yeah, he's going to have to pass all kinds of tests and there will be an injury clause in the contract.
