thanks for the articles coach

still not a fan of doc rivers though ;)

random thoughts

so.... what do people here think about the C's and how they react to winning it all?

I was worried about PP and his comments about being the best in the world... but then I read that he's been in the gym lifting and is not satisfied with only one title

do you believe him? or is he going to be more selfish this year and try for an MVP trophy?

my wish for the season is that Perk (and everyone else) just plays ball and doesn't bitch at the refs or sulk all over the place

is darius miles really what we're looking forward to? ;) i mean other than the return of the new Big Three

and yes that's the first time i've called them that... still sounds not right but they won it all so who gives a flying titty

i was shocked at how fiesty they were late last year

i think them getting brand will be nice

although them holding onto Lou Williams also was big

as well as Igoudala

Would love for the rivalry to get back....

then pierce can choke the shit out of someone ;)

I'd love to see the rivalry renewed. Brand is a force.

To Lou's other points...I hope that Perkins really improves this year. He's got the experience now.

he has the experience... but i don't think he has the smarts

he's a hard worker and agressive... but not that bright... although maybe i'm assuming too much from the interviews i see

i see perk expecting more calls because he's an nba champ

maybe KG will try to straighten him out... and hopefully perk will listen

He was willing to play unselfish and defer back in 2005-06 when the team completely sucked, I don't see why he wouldn't be like that now that it led to a title last year.

Complacency is the only thing I'd worry about, but seeing as KG is a nut bag I don't think he'd let anyone get away with slacking.

Let's hope Rondo worked on his jumper this off season.

yeah... that was a real liability last year...

;)

if this wasn't such a media story i bet a majority of people wouldn't even notice

look at the stats for last year

rondo had the best shooting percentage of all guards on the team... he hit 49.9% of his 2's

shit only 10 guards in the whole NBA had a better overall FG%

it would be a nice addition if he could hit the 3... or maybe more than 61% of his FTs

but i'll happily take last year plus any progress

i'm sure he's been working on it all summer... well... an nba championship shortened summer ;)

but he had a lot of close shots, that's why the FG percentage was that high; clearly he can't hit an outside shot. That's a fact.

Rondo during the playoffs shot 40 percent from the field....in 26 games. FAIL.
