i'm pretty sure they get out of this round, coach.

That's my point...if they get out of this first round, see them going to the Eastern Conference Finals, which would be great and a tad unexpected.

These guys are playing inspired basketball.

I would love a Celtics/Heat conference finals. If the Celtics are healthy I think they have a pretty legitimate shot.

Old superstars in the NBA win. The Celts much up well vs. the Heat. But there's still many games to be played.

i don't think a series against the pacers is going to be easy... let alone one against miami.

something about chickens and eggs or horses and carts.

Don't you guys get the winner of Sixers/Bulls?

wait it doesn't go by seed like the nhl?

then they certainly have a better shot against the sixers.

The NBA doesn't re-seed, it goes by bracket. So if an 8 beats a 1 they get to play the winner of 4/5 regardless of whether the 2 and 3 are still in.

P Double's knee isn't going to hold up for a deep run. They are fortunate to get the Sixers next round, who usually shoot under 40 percent. Even a horrific rebounding team like the C's should be able to grab a few boards and get by the Sixers...

In the end, I will be pulling for them against Lebron and the Heat. And that feels kind of gross....

I was referring to Game 5 when the Celts lost.

If they get past Philly, I love the Celts over Miami, as the Celts match up very well against the Heat.

All that said, I'm afraid the age and injuries will catch up to them at some point.

the every-other-night playoff format provides them more rest than they had all season.

but i'm with you, rondo triple-doubles are not going to be enough.

Tough game tonight. I really feel that Boston needs to win this game. More wins, less games to play, more rest and treatment.

By more wins, I'm referring to closing out series in four or five games vs. six or seven.

That wouldn't surprise me, but, of course, I am rooting against this.
