2-2!

this, my friends, is a competitive series.

beltran is hitting .500, lidge is looking good (when we can hold a lead to get to him), and the astros have been making quite a few 2 out rallies.

on the cardinals side:

your walker, edmonds, pujols, rolen crap is really getting on my nerves  . but i respect it.

good luck to both teams for the rest of the series.

I'm going to predict Astros in 7 games. They've got to win tomorrow, however.

FUCK YEAH!

how can you "set things straight" in a game 5 of a 2-2- series?

The Cards will set things straight when they go back to St. Louis and play in a real ballpark.

okay let me expand my comment for you... when st louis wins tomorrow they will be up 3-2, THEN they will only have to win one in st louis which will be no problem... comprende?

that's not setting things straight. that's one half of a possibly split homestand.

Backe vs. Williams. Both started Game 1.

I hope so. Our bullpen sucks. Although Oswalt wasn't so hot today.

Beltran is a beast. He's putting the Astros on his back and carrying them. I hope to god he doesn't sign with the yankees in the off season. that would suck

I say this in all sincerity, I would rather Beltran die than sign with the Yankees. Die.
If Backe can go 6 today, the Astros can win this series. If not, there is no god, or there is a god, but he's a total dick.

ah, i see. at the time of your posts yesterday, i assumed for some reason that they were flying back to St. louis to play game 5, oddly without a days rest. hence my confusion at your bold claim. this game 5 in houston business is quite a pleasant surprise :):):)
