that's cool. i think i fell out of love with it a little bit after the Bulls got bad for a while and michael jordan turned into a guy who couldn't let go.

I like pro basketball. I am not able to get into college that much. It just used to piss me off when i was like 13 trying to watch sportscenter and it wouldnt be on because of New Mexico State- UTEP.. then the death of the michigan program just made me stop watching altogether.

see im just the opposite, imo the nba coming to espn was the worst thing that could have ever happened.... thank god hockey isnt going on... more ncaa basketball!.... espnU coming in march is going to be great for college hoops

i did like the nba in the days of magic, larry legend, and mj though (and of course sir charles, my favorite)

My thoughts mirror yours. I couldn't care less about the NBA, but I love the college game. It's great to see my BC Eagles in the top 10, and I just love a good game. I was amazed by UNC this afternoon. I watched the first half and when I had to shut it off, to go to a kid's b-day party, they had taken a 50-18 lead over a decent UVa team.

Most people are this way... NCAA b-ball > NBA b-ball

Basketball doesn't do much for me. It's definitely my least favorite of the 4 major pro sports (although I was enthralled with the Magic/Bird/MJ/Isiah days). I do like college bball and March Madness is fantastic. I wouldn't necessarily call myself much of a fan of the sport as a whole, but then I have friends who think I'm obsessed with all sports, so my dislike of basketball probably equals an average fan's enjoyment.

I'm a basketball fan. My high school's team is doing really well right now (top 20 in the state) and their games have been kicking ass all season. I like NBA, and NCAA too, especially the Mavericks and the Longhorns.

I'll watch the deciding game of the Finals; that's about as far as I go with bball.

The last game i remember watching and really CARING...

Western Michigan v. Auburn in the 1998 NCAA first round...

i had already decided to go to Western... and my 7th period pre-calc teacher was a WMU alum... so instead of class... we watched the game...

and i stayed 45 minutes after school to watch the end of the game. Saddi Washington was awesome.. and that guy (generic black name if i remember correctly) who could shoot like scuse me madam.

When Jordan was playing I would try and catch every Bulls game that was televised.

Now all I watch is the playoffs. I still pay attention to what's going on in the NBA but I don't watch too many games in the regular season. The last game I watch was the Christmas Day game (heat v. lakers).

The NBA ain't what it used to be. I still watch games occasionally, but not as much as I did in the 80's - 90's. This year's Western Conference playoffs should be good though. Then you have the East, where the Atlantic Divison Champion could be below/around .500 and be the no. 3 seed.

They need to contract some teams, expansion has had something to do with the (lack of) quality of the game. They need to take it down from 30 to 24 teams. Atlanta, New Orleans, Charlotte (these 3 definitely), LA Clippers (you only need one team there), New Jersey and Orlando (only one team in Florida) should all be gone.

I don't watch much college hoops at all, but I'll catch as much of the tournament as I can.

I used to be all about the NBA. Big Shaq fan, big Celtics fan, I never liked the Bulls because they were so good, but they were fun to watch...I thought the 80s and early 90s were a great time for the nba. Then it really went downhill and it is no fun whatsoever watching any games.

I am not hugely into college hoops, although I check out the Lady Lions games here...and a boy's game here and there. But I agree,

I love playing the game though. I haven't played in a while, anyone for some 3 on 3? 8)
