I can name about 190 million reasons why the Yankees should win tonight, but I don't want to go there . . . :)

So, a dig at Yankee Payroll? First off, its $180 million, not 190. And if we are going to talk high payroll, the sox are up there to, i beleive in the neighborhood of $135 M. Payroll, has alot to do with it i agree, but seeing that the Yankees can sell 50,000 seats for every game, they can afford to do so.

You know, it's so fashionable to take cuts at the Red Sox lineup, but the fact is that the guys who don't get paid a whole lot end up making the difference.... Mark Bellhorn is case in point... no matter who the Yankees get to come up with the big hit, they're paying them more...

Ah I don't care... I'm just a bitter Phillies fan waiting for another Lenny Dykstra to come along...

My game 7 predictions:

Kevin Brown gets stuck in traffic, in a fit of rage he puts fist through window causing him to miss the first inning. Comes in during the second and lets up 25 runs.

Mariano Rivera forced to pitch last 7 innings, then cries himself to sleep.

Arod stabbs Kevin Millar on his way to first base, then is knocked-out by flying garbage from protesting yankee fans.

Matsui gets deported in the top of the 6th.

Jorge Posada's pants mysteriously fall off, revealing he is really a woman. A really UGLY woman.

Bernie Williams hits 32nd and 33rd career postseason homeruns.

Derrick Lowe pitches 7 scoreless innings, then appologizes to Red Sox Nation for being such a little bitch.

Tim Wakefield lets up 3 runs, but it doesn't matter because he's so fucking awsome and we all have man-crushes on him.

David Ortiz hits for the cycle and gets a hand-job from his wife in the dugout.

Final score: Sox-29 NYY-4

Don't forget . . . MLB doesn't allow anyone under the age of 14 in the dugout.

Yes you are correct! Today is the 20th of October, sooo those ghosts can't come out and play just yet.

10/20/31 is Mantle's birthday. Chances are this game will be decided on 10/21 anyway, so everybody's right.

Ghosts, do your thing...

Why do they bother paying the players so much if Ruth and Mantle are going to do it for them anyway...

you yankee fans wear blinders

You are very right. We all wear blinders. We wear blinders in the sense that there is ONE goal year in and year out. Winning the ALCS and Winning the World Series. Anything less than that is a failure. Some teams are content with a .500 season, some are content with just making the playoffs. But when you are a yankee fan, or a new york sports fan you expect more, you expect better. Because, plain and simple, WE ARE BETTER...

lmfao

Outcome of this game aside, this is utterly laughable. "WE ARE BETTER" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WTF>? GHD!? WIGGLE!
