so far today, i've heard:

1. other team had too much "momentum" (sports inertia, i guess)
2. my team beat your team the last six times we played, so this time doesn't matter
3. (player name) isn't on the team anymore, so it isn't fair

What are some of your favorite excuses to spout when your team doesn't get the job done?

Dude, Parcells is a Testicleverde leg humper... if Parcells could clone Vinny as he is now we'd have the Dallas Vinny's on the field next year

The Patriots were better.

Not the fans, but the team.

Parcells does love him. He isn't the primary reason Dallas sucked this year though

There's no need to give props to the real reason why your team lost this year... you have to give us a ridiculous claim that nobody believes but you

Hell no... you've got a shitty/depleted secondary, about half of a pass rush, a star corner back who didn't start playing up to half his potential until week 10, no running game until Thanksgiving, no recievers for the slowest man in the NFL to throw to (I think he ran a 6 minute 40), and not to mention a right side of an offensive line that has a no-name like Andre Gurode starting and getting called for holding every other play... other than that, I think we had a real chance at the NFC East this year

But you know, that's all irrelevant, because next year Vinny is going to be playing every position so we'll win 19 games... and hopefully he'll remember his damn jock

The Steelers started their backups and the Bills didn't have any game film of their play and therefore, they were taken off guard when Willie Parker and Brian St Pierre took the field.

The Broncos had beaten the Colts so handily the week before. I can't explain it. It's almost as if the Colts were using different players.

Talk to me when you win another 25 ....

They just get lucky every week, the Patriots don't have any stars ...

We would have won big if the game was indoors ...

Too bad it isn't college football season or there would definitely be something here about why Virginia Tech lost. Their fans are some of the worst.
