Hooters has to be #1 Awful food. Terrible wait staff even if they are sometimes good looking. The Food always makes you feel like you're going to die. The color scheme is offensive to humans. They never have enough TV's. Most of the clientele are just sad looking, kind of like most frequent strip club patrons. Dirtiest Casino in Vegas....Just generally freaking awful in every sense of the word.
honorable mention Beef O Bradys. I didn't know I could find a sports bar with worse food than Hooters.

for whatever reason, Hooters isn't all that popular around NY. I think there's only one on Long Island. I went to one once...in AC. The beer was cheap, but the wings sucked and the girls were terrible.

Ive only been to hooters a few times with some guys from work. it was always at lunch time like noon or 1pm
and there were nothing but old grandmas and moms with their small kids eating there. it creeped me out.
and the first time when the place was brand new the waitresses were pretty hot, but the next 2 times was like a year later, and they got rid of the pros and replaced them with local girls. UGLY local girls

went to hooters once, won't go back...the food was terrible...our waitress was some stupid ugly chick with tons of makeup who kept trying to "flirt" with us...she mixed up our beers, salads, and entree...and to top it off, she put a lemon in my Fosters (???)

a few years ago my roomie slapped a hooters calendar on my desk. i needed one up on the wall so i said wtf and pinned it up there. as i flipped through it, you would think it would be in order, Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. instead, it was like Nov, Mar, Jun, Jan, etc. all fucked up. so now you know what the hooters girls do during slow shifts, they put together the calendars.

good call on beef o'brady's. that place totally sucks. i really don't see what kind of clientelle they're aiming to get there. its supposed to be a family friendly bar? wtf?
as for hooters, the one here in johnson city has added a ton of flat scrrens over the past couple of years. i just went there a couple of weeks ago for the first time in a while. it was at lunch, so the "b team" was working. i agree their food is pretty horrendous, but i usually just get chicken wings anyways, and i like the way they bread them there. most people don't like that.
i've found that the best sports bars are usually non-chain local types with just a couple of tv's and a few games like a dartboard, pool table, fooseball, etc. unfortunately, in a town like johnson city, places like that don't survive, but i've been to a few in knoxville that are pretty nice.
I don't like Hooters either, I think the food is terrible. I did go to one in Atlanta and they had a bikini contest and it was one of the best things I've ever seen at a restaurant.

buffalo wild wings is terrible as well. the food is shitty and the wings are as tiny and thin and meatless as kate moss' titties
disagree
The wings are too small, but I like most of the sauces they have.
the sauces are good, I even bought a bottle of one of them. but the wings are too small is an understatement and Ive had a chicken sandwich there and it was this thin rubbery tasteless piece of chicken on the biggest bun ive ever seen.

Hooters isn't that bad but i rarely go there to watch football. The sports bar i go to lets us smoke cigarettes in the bar(which is illegal in NY) so that's why i go there. Plus the owner gives me all this free Colts shit. It's pretty cool once you establish a bar cause you start getting free drinks here and there. One time this season my buddy and i drank about 12 beers each and ordered food and the waitress hooked us up with a $20 bill. We left her a $20 tip cause the bill should have been about $100

I actually love Hooters wings. The rest of the food is mediocre. The girls aren't that good either, especially with those awful shorts and shiny pantyhose they wear.

do you get the breaded or non breaded?
breaded. they must be eaten while they are hot and crunchy. No breaded wings on takeout. Once they start going soggy they blow.
