That was a hell of a game.

I can also thank college hockey for me witnessing the longest lacrosse game in NCAA history.

It ended up being 0.1!!!!

That was a weird way to end the game, it definitely went through the net though.

I'm a Bemidji State alum... this is so great for the community. I started there in 97-98 and the program was just getting approval for D-1 play after being a powerhouse in the lower classes for many years. But their status in D-1 certainly wasn't cemented while I was there, and now CHA is going to fold, so they put in a bid for entry into the WCHA. They have a new arena groundbreaking this week. Everything is coming together... I'm so escited for them. It will be huge for the area and the school.

Go Beavers!

Hell of a final. I feel bad for Miami. They had that game. And such a tough goal to lose on.

Boston is a better team, inside and out. No matter what miami did, it was DESTINED to be Boston's trophy, ahha.

No. I'm just a hockey fan. How can you not love winning like that? 2 goals in the end of the third. And I wasn't really serious about destiny, that was a joke. But I was serious about Boston being better. Plus, like I said, any hockey fan loves a comeback like that. Do i feel bad for Miami, not really, but I'm a hockey fan, so that would makes sense that I don't feel bad.

And any hockey fan would hate seeing a game end on such a fluke of a goal.

Any hockey fan would realize that the way they got it to OT overshadows the fact that it ended on a weak goal. And there are no flukes. There are weak goals. A team creates every goal, however indirect it may be. If at the least, the team is their for the goal to be awarded to. But in reality, I believe that any team creates every goal they're awarded.

Plus, I just like seeing chokes.

You say tomato....

And I think the way a game ends will always stick out. Regardless of how it got there. It was a fun game, I'm not disagreeing there.

my alma mater just lost in this year's first frozen four game.

pretty amazing run for them, but they certainly helped themselves w/ their seeding.

Go Dutchmen!

It's pretty amazing they have such a good program without scholarships.

yup.

also, you could pretty much figure the winner of bc/ minn would win the whole thing, so its not like i could imagine much more than what Union achieved anyway.
