since i give the bahstahn fans so much shit here, i figured this is where id post my conversation today


im ordering some furniture from staples and have to call in to get specific part numbers etc, because, well, i have no clue what im doing.

so as i am talking to this guy, i believe his name is steve, i detect an accent, so after he tells me all the part numbers and really does help me out with what i need he asks me if theres anything else he can do for me.

i tell him, im afraid i cant do business with you because im detecting a filly or bahstan accent and he starts to laugh. he admits hes in boston and as he proceeds to take my information and asks me where my city is. i tell him the city name, sewickley and he asks wheres that at.

i said, im not sure if you have heard of this town before or not, but its the home of 6 time superbowl champions the pittsburgh steelers, who won with out the use of videotaping their opponents

he starts cracking up saying, oh yea, i seem to recall your team in the news. i think tell him i am going to do a jerry macguire on him and i want him, if he wants my business, to stand up in his call center and scream, lets go pens

well, obviously he couldnt do that since its a call center and while they are on the phones talking, screaming is kinda frowned upon. but he promised me if the pens beat boston in this years cup playoffs, he will call me up and chant lets go pens

so you see, not everyone in boston has a stick up their ass about their sports
