Yep, Tiger - duh...although that's not to say he's invincible. He's going to have to hole a few putts. In saying that, hitting 49 of 56 fairways at the Memorial was insane and if he does that again it'll be much more vital than it proved that week.
Another one i've got is Paul Casey. Drives it straight, has length and certainly has the confidence. No English winner for 39 years but he's capable.
My spread better of the week is David Duval. Shot well at qualifying, loves this event and goes best when the scores are around par.

I will do my usual bets of Garcia, Scott and Furyk.
I usually do Verplank as well but does anyone know why he is out/has been out?
Might add Kim or Villegas instead.
Unsure on Verplank. I like Furyk this week but Scott has been terrible this year, tinkering with his swing and his stats are plain awful. Don't like him to rectify that at Bethpage of all places. Sergio....well i've made myself clear about him in the past.

With Scott, Garcia and Verplank I started beacking them a couple of years back and have to do it each major now as knowing my luck one of em will win when I don't.

The PGA claim they hope the rain will be light enough to play again around 1:30PM. ESPN says they don't think there's any chance to restart play today.

Ian Poulter thought it funny that the USGA thought there'd be a chance of play in one of his 'Tweets'.
Really hope Tiger can keep the doubles off his card this week, already one on the card.

I don't even know why they tried. I don't think it's fair to the guys that had to play through that shit. It should be interesting to see how they handle this weather. It's suppose to rain the next three days. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be as bad as today, but Saturday is. Those poor bastards are going to be squeegeeing all night.

They're going to have a nightmare with bad lies, mud on their ball, etc. It's a bit more of a lottery now.
And definitely you're not the only non-Tiger supporter - but I'm a fan. I like being a witness to history, I want him to pass Jack. I love it that i'm around to see the greatest golfer that ever lived, and damn near the best sportsman that ever lived.

interesting fact: well, sort of for me at least...the guy in the lead after 11 holes, Jeff Brehaut, was my friends roommate in college..I played a few rounds with him back in the early 90s when he was playing on the Nike tour which is now the Nationwide tour..played with him one day when he shot a 62..also, after one of the rounds I played with him, he gave me a set of Titleist DCI irons

That's pretty cool. Sounds like a reason to pull for him.
