Can't wait for this fight on Saturday, I'm not sure which way to call it, If Haye can get inside and work the body it's his for the taking, but you've got to be intimidated by the sheer size of Valuev at 7ft and 23st
Ladbrokes have Haye as the favorite at 1.57 (-175) with Valuev at 2.25 (+125), I'm unsure about these odds as I think they've reduced them due to the volume of British people betting with their heart.
Any americans out there what are the odds on your betting sites for this fight? does it even register on the radar over there?

Id like haye to win for the home grown factor yes but i dont think he will. i think he will get mauled by valuev! badly. haye is all talk and no depth. he will go hell for leather for four or five rounds. if he doesnt get him in that time he is doomed!
thats my call anyway!

There is a lot of talk there, but I think he's got the goods to back it up. He can't go hell for leather though, there's no way he'll stop Valuev, he's got to go for the points decision and make sure it's clearly his as he's on Valuev's turf.

yep,did you see the press conference though? he wants to knock him out? never, his head is the size of haye's torso!!
thats the key for me. if haye is calm and measured for the start he can get into a rythmn after that and move and pick off shots. valuev isnt supposed to be the most graceful of fighters so if haye uses his skills then he will get a points win. however,i think valuev could knock haye out very easily and if haye goes for it then ill say no more than five rounds.... six at a push... or a dull 12 rounder going on points.....

British paper The Mirror ran a piece outlining the top ten insults that were spewed out by heavyweight contender David Haye. No surprise here; the top five insults were all directed at WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev. Haye challenges Valuev for the title on Saturday night in Germany.
1. (on Valuev)
"He is the ugliest human being I’ve ever seen in the flesh. I’ve seen ugly guys before in movies, but that’s probably the prosthetics. But I’m talking about, physically with no make-up. He’s the ugliest human being on Earth. He makes the Elephant Man look like Pamela Anderson."
2. (on Valuev)
“Valuev’s known as ‘The Beast from the East’ and there’s a reason he’s got that nickname. He’s a big, ugly, sweaty and hairy man from the Eastern bloc.”
3. (on Valuev)
"He is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I have watched Lord of the Rings and films with strange looking people but for a human being to look like he does is pretty shocking.”
4. (on Valuev)
"All you've got to do is look at a picture of the guy and that speaks volumes. I consider him more of a circus show freak that happens to be boxing. He's an ugly type of fighter, he tries to lean on you, tries to brawl and comes out with a really hairy chest that gets matted and is disgusting. I've never been a big fan of the matted hair in my face."
5. (on Valuev)
"The size I am, I sort of come up to his chest and apparently the word around the campfire is that he doesn't smell too sweet. I've talked to a few guys that have been in the ring with him and they say that's the first thing they notice, just the stench. Hopefully he runs a cold tap over himself or someone hoses him down outside before he comes in."
I believe David Haye is gonna beat Valuev. Jesus Christ! Did Valuev even condition for this fight??? I understand he's a fucking giant but WTF.
I do too, and he should do it pretty easily. All he has to do is imitate Wladimir Klitschko and throw 600 jabs and move. Valuev has zero mobility and his power isn't that great for somebody that huge. Haye has a questionable chin but he'll be so much faster than Valuev he shouldn't get hit with anything hard. It should be an extremely boring fight.
Haye wins a decision, 114-114, 116-112 (twice). I didn't watch it, but from what I read it was pretty boring. Haye now must fight mandatory challenger John Ruiz or vacate the title. I hope he vacates the title, it's obscene that any belt holder should have to fight Ruiz.
it was kinda interesting at first, to see how haye would go about it. i lost the stream at around round 8, but i read haye hurt valuev really bad towards the end of round 12, made him wobble. haye had a good plan, but should've been more active, maybe he kicked it up a notch towards the end.
an exciting fight, it wasn't. but there's still angulo and dawson to look forward to tonight.

I was going to go to the Dawson fight, but I'm not a fan of watching Glen Johnson. I respect him though because he's fought pretty much everyone and comes to fight. I'm interested to see how big a crowd they get, I think there were a lot of tickets still available earlier this week.
