It's basically throw ball. I'm right, aren't I?

The only NA sport I can watch and enjoy is (Ice) Hockey. As for sports which stop for TV commercials, give me a break. How do you guys put up with the constant stop/start? Let the game flow.

I was thinking about soccer and one thing I really hate is that the scoring isn't staggered. In football you can score 7's, 3's, and 2's, so there are multiple ways of putting up points and coming back from a deficit. I'll take football over any other sport out there.

I hate stop/starts for Media Commercials. DAMNIT.

This is why I like football (soccer to those Americans)

depends how you define "violent". 12 rounds of constant punishment is about as violent as i can think of

I like to watch NFL, but I watch it on a Belgian channel where they don't constantly do commercial breaks. They show one game per week.

i was seriously, honestly surprised to find that when the eurocup (i think that was it) was on, and on ESPN, they did not take a commercial break until the half and then after it was over. that was very, very surprising to me.

Commercials provide time to switch over to the other game or go get another beer. Plus, they build up the tension.

It wouldn't be surprising if you've ever watched soccer on TV because that's how it always is.

but it was ESPN. i was just surprised that they could do without advertisers' money for more than fifteen minutes at a time.

The only thing the Americans should learn in the stadium, is some singing.
