I remember last year being on a stag in Budapest (same date actually) and we managed to catch him winning gold and breaking the world record. I was astonished esp the way he was looking around and coasting going over the line. Always thought there was more in him and last night he proved it. Sadly I wasn't in Budapest this time I was at home venting my anger on a Liverpool forum!

interesting, I had never even heard of this guy
it makes a lot of sense that someone who is 6'5 is doing this. i think we've always seen shorter sprinters just because of luck and i've always felt that someone who was really tall could ultimately be a good bit faster than someone who is short. I saw him mention that he thinks the times will stop at around 9.4 and after watching the video of this last record setting race, I have to believe him. His start was one of the slowest.

Never heard of him? He won gold in the 100 and 200 in the Olympics. He did so rather easily too.

hey edzeppe...just curious: have you ever had another avatar? I can only remember you having that one.
I actually wanted originally to have the most posts with no avatar. But then i saw a cool "fuck you fox, bring back arrested development" one that i used for 2 weeks... until a photo on ESPN.com's main page changed my RM identity.
I should have a contest to find me a new avatar, but given my popularity, it would last 3 pages, with every third post coming from thodoks saying "schtick post"
