I think it's a crime that LA doesn't have an NFL team. I'd like to see one there. As for a second team to keep the number even, I'd guess Las Vegas, Portland, Orlando, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, or maybe Albuquerque.

Considering that Florida already has 3 teams, I can see moving them. Hate to uproot a fan base, but they were an expansion team anyway, so the base doesn't have any dynastic history to lose, anyway.

That, and I'm still pissed at Jacksonville for beating Denver in the divisional playoffs in...I think it was the 1995 season (in 1996, obviously)...I think it was the last year Denver wore the old uniforms.

to answer the question specifically, the NFL won't expand, as has been mentioned, they'll relocate. with 8 divisions, 4 teams each, they've got things well organized. not to mention, with the already diluted talent, adding teams would bring the level down further (i'm thinking of the fact that the league can't field 32 worthy QBs, let alone adding more to the mix).

My guesses: Actionville -> LA (2-3 years); Buffalo -> Toronto (3-5 years)

LA is trying to attract a team. There are plans to build a billion dollar stadium in the City of Industry.

As has been said, Jax is the most likely candidate to move given that, even though they were relatively competitive this year, they didn't sell out a single home game. They had games where the stands were half full.

But moving a team from Florida to California would require a major divisional realignment. I can't imagine they would ever break up the existing AFC West given the longstanding AFL-days rivalries. Maybe more likely the Jax/LA franchise would move to the NFC and become a part of the NFC West, replacing St. Louis, which would then join the AFC South.

Colts are 8-2 against Jax since 05. It's not like the Jaguars are really a juggernaut in the division.

But the Rams would be 2 more division wins every year and Manning would love to play in the Rams dome every year. Jax is scary to play every time.
