This was said awhile back in this thread, but the Colts offensive line is actually not as good as the numbers suggest (nor do I think was the Pats' line during their big run). Manning is pretty darn good in the pocket, as is Brady. Which is not to suggest the offensive lines are bad, they're just not absolutely amazing.

Yeah? What makes you say this?

Was Manning the one who called three straight dives and then a punt after they had stopped the Saints on 4th and one? how exactly does the play calling work there? it was a old guard pussy move on their part, and let the Saints make it up with a FG. Thats why i love Sean Payton and a lot of these new coaches who dont just kneel and go to halftime. he's always looking to score.

one of the talking heads brought up a good point about Manning being an aggressive player stuck on a ultra conservative team.

Yeah? What makes you say this?

Just pieces I read earlier in the season from so-called "experts." I could be wrong here, but I remember a couple months ago reading some pieces from former offensive lineman about quarterbacks and sack totals (Aaron Rodgers, David Carr) and how much the quarterback matters to the situation and how a great quarterback in that regard can make a decent offensive line look spectacular.

manning also tossed another interception in that game...in the end zone, but the guy couldn't stay in bounce...however offensive pass interference was called on that play

So wait, it wasn't an interception?

how does an assclown like this have a job writing sports articles? he throws out every concievable stat including post season QB rating and declares Big Ben a better QB than Manning because his record is better.

What does the Catholic Church sex-abuse scandal have to do with any of this?

It will be funny to me to see the fan reaction to this. I am not a "fuck yeah JACKED UP" NFL fan at all, but I know lots of people still are. Will they admit that what the Saints did represents the violence they really want to see in the game?
