Minnesota North Stars vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Dig it.

enough of this baseball rivalry shit. noone aint got nothing on these two teams.

Wow.

one game i went to here at the met center...pre warm up, warm up skate...before anyone was there..before the refs were there. the teams were out skating around, shooting, warming up...and a fight broke out..noone to break it up, just had to fight untill they tired themselves out...ha...about an hour and a half later..the place was packed and the game began...

i remember games going into many overtimes with 80 shots per team...ol jon casey coming out to the blue line...

god i miss it.

Staying in hockey the Islanders Rangers was really good back in the 80's.

Obviously Yankee Redsox, I guess it finally is a rivalry now that the Redsox have beaten them.

Particularly when the Red Wings owned the Blackhawks. Wait, they still do.

Hey, when is Chicago ever going to get another professional hockey team anyway? 8)

Arsenal-Tottenham, although I'm from Islington (Arsenals borough) I moved to Coventry in 2002, during the champions league quarter final 1st leg last season some Tottenham fan was going on to some foreigner in the pub about how he can't stand Arsenal (which caused me to undo my jacket to reveal my Arsenal shirt!) Chelsea went 1-0 up and about 10 minutes later we equalised and I shouted "gutted you fuking anti-Arsenal cunts"! Then there was us winning the title at their place the same season, best day of my life so far. Watched it in the nobody and ended up Avenell Road (the road which runs alongside Highburys (Arsenals stadium) east stand) went on long into the night. I fucking hate the cunts with a passion, always will the peado song singing supporting manu and chelsea against their own team sore loser CUNTS

Back in the late 90s/early 00s, a really good rivalry used to be between the Colorado Avalanche :P and the Detroit Red Wings. Ahhh, the good ole days.

"Used to be?" I think it's still pretty intense. Granted, the Red Wings are clearly the superior team, though . . . :)

Yawn . . . the AFC West has always been overrated. The Broncos and Chump Bailey certainly proved that last night.

The only good thing to come out of the AFC West is Air Coryell and the incredible Chargers' teams from the early 80's!

By the way, the Michigan/Ohio State rivalry is so good, the game even has it's own sponsor.

Bears vs Packers

By far the best rivalry ever, in any sport. If you're from Chicago you automatically hate the Packers, and i would assume it is the same in GB. My girlfriend however is from chicago and loves the pack :x , while i'm a die-hard Bears fan.

Also, one that i think that gets overlooked alot due to east coast bias is the Dodgers and Giants.

I'd have to think that Packers-Vikings is bigger, at least at the moment. I know it's big to us Vikings fans.
