yeah, gonna be pretty exciting. obviously, its funny because people have already started arriving, its def gotten busier here in the last week or so.

heres to our Canadian athletes, may we top our best, 24 medals at Turin 06 and maybe finish in front of one of USA or Germany (doubtful)

What's wonderful about these games is that it won't cost much for the province of British Columbia

Tell me about it. My suite in Whistler the weekend before cost a lot more than that...

Good post, would have been better had you not included the second line. Let the people who don't get it not get it.

I thought about that, and if the previous poster had put 88 mph instead of 90, i would have left it at the first part. Unfortunately, he did not, so I had to tie in back to the future in a more in depth manner than i had hoped.

I still don't think you had to do it.

You may be right.
It was a decision i made at the moment, for the reasons stated.

Well, not making the best decision is still better than not making a decision at all.

Gorgeous ceremony. And of course, Gretzky with the flame. As if it could be anyone else.

I liked how they incorporated a lot of the other options into it. (Hansen, Le May Doan, Nash and Greene with the torches, Orr, Fox, etc. carrying the flag.)

But yeah, it had to be Gretzky. I thought Sakic should have been in there somewhere.
